Transcribe CallRail call recordings including the hour-long ones.
To transcribe a CallRail recording, download the call's audio from your call log and upload it here; a 75-minute consultation comes back as text in about 3 minutes. Your recording starts with a free preview of its opening minutes, and a month of 40 calls averaging 35 minutes (1,400 minutes) fits the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes.
Out of the call log, into text
CallRail tells you which ad rang the phone. The transcript tells you what the caller wanted.
Download the call
Recorded calls sit against each entry in CallRail's call log, with a player on the call's detail view. Where your account role allows it, a download option saves the audio; it is usually an MP3, but check what your account produces. If recording is switched off for a tracking number, there is no file to download.
Upload it here
Drop the file in the box above. A phone call is light, often a few tens of megabytes even at an hour, so it rarely comes near the 500 MB this box takes, let alone the 5 GB one file can be. Several calls go up one after another, each as its own transcript.
Pricing the month
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes. Forty calls averaging 35 minutes are 1,400 minutes, which sits in the $18 pack of 3,000. Credits do not expire, so a quiet month carries over.
Using what comes back
Read the brief before the weekly marketing meeting, copy the caller's own words into the ad review, and ask the chat which calls mentioned a competitor quote. The questions each call answers are listed, which makes a missed booking easy to explain.
Tracked calls nobody listens to
Every call is attributed to a campaign. Almost none of them get heard.

FAQ
CallRail recordings, answered.
How quickly does a CallRail call come back?
At about 2 minutes per hour of audio, a 75-minute call is ready in roughly 3 minutes and a 10-minute call in well under a minute. Every call starts with a free preview of its opening minutes.
Can I send calls straight from CallRail?
No. WhipScribe has no integration with CallRail and nothing is installed in your account. Download the recording and upload it, or put the files in a Google Drive folder and paste the share link.
What will a month of tracked calls cost?
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. Packs are one-time payments in US dollars.
Do I need consent to record these calls?
Recording a call needs the consent the law where you are requires, and that applies however the call is captured. Most businesses play a short notice at the start of a tracked line; check what yours does.
Are both voices captured?
Yes, whatever is in the recording is transcribed. The caller and your team member are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so you know whose words you are reading without per-line tags.
Are the recordings kept private?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You can export TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON and delete the call and its transcript whenever you choose.
