A 50-minute module takes under 2 minutes, since the pace is about 2 minutes per audio hour. Longer files follow the same rate; /proof/long-files shows 9.31 hours in 1,033 seconds.
What does a full course cost to transcribe?
Twelve 50-minute modules are 600 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000. A shorter course of up to 500 minutes fits the $6 pack, such as eight 60-minute lessons at 480.
Can I paste my private feed link?
A private feed address is usually personal to the subscriber, so download the MP3 and upload it instead. Uploading the file also keeps the private feed address out of any other system. Public Castos shows can be pasted as their RSS feed with no download.
How big are the files, and do long ones need splitting?
A 50-minute MP3 at 128 kbps is 48 MB. One file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, so even a recorded full-day workshop goes in as a single file.
Does it work for courses in other languages?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, and a lesson that moves between two languages is detected on its main one, with the switches handled.
What exports come out, and does the course audio stay private?
The exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON for each lesson. Paid course audio is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training.
