Transcribe long shows streamed through Castr from a replay link or the saved file.
A show you multistream with Castr usually ends up as a replay on the platforms it went to, and may also be saved as a recording you can download; paste a YouTube, Twitch or Kick replay link, or upload the file, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. A 3.5-hour show is text in about 7 minutes, with the first 20 minutes free and the other 190 on the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
One show, many destinations
Castr sends one show to several platforms. Pick whichever copy is easiest to reach.
The replay link
A YouTube, Twitch or Kick replay is the quickest route: paste the link and nothing downloads. Should a replay run beyond 6 hours, it starts once a pack is on the account.
The Castr recording
If recording was switched on for the stream, the file can be downloaded from your Castr dashboard. Check the recording settings and your plan, since what is kept, and for how long, varies.
Facebook and other destinations
For a platform not taken as a link, such as Facebook, or for a private replay, download the replay and upload the file the usual way. The words are the same on every copy, so one transcript serves every platform the show reached.
A quarter of weekly shows
Thirteen weekly 3.5-hour shows come to 2,730 minutes, past the $12 pack, so they go on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes with 2,270 left. Each show returns with chapters of its own, plus a brief and the names and figures your guests mentioned.
After a multistream
The show went to three platforms at once, and none of them hands you notes.

FAQ
Castr recordings: what hosts ask.
Does WhipScribe connect to Castr?
No. WhipScribe has no integration with Castr; you paste a replay link or upload a recording you downloaded, and the transcript comes from that. Nothing is added to your stream setup, and no bot appears in the broadcast.
How fast is a 3.5-hour show done?
In about 7 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A shorter 90-minute show takes about 3, and the public 4.94-hour run on the proof page finished in 372 seconds.
What do a season's shows cost?
A first-time visitor transcribes 20 minutes free. A single 3.5-hour show is 210 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Thirteen of them, 2,730 minutes, are a $24 pack; packs are one-time, with no subscription.
Which copy should I transcribe?
Any one, since the words match on every platform, so there is no reason to pay for the same show twice. A link is fastest; a downloaded recording works when the replay is private or sits on a platform not taken as a link.
My show ran past 6 hours.
A stream over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account, and one file or link may run to 10 hours. A longer broadcast is downloaded and uploaded as two files.
Which exports come back, and where is the show processed?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, with the language found automatically among 99. Shows are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
