Transcribe Circle community recordings live-room replays and course lessons, as text members can search.
A 90-minute Circle live session becomes a transcript in about 3 minutes after you upload the recording, with the first 20 minutes free. Four weekly sessions a month total 360 minutes and fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes; WhipScribe has no connection inside Circle, so it works on the recording you download.
From replay to community resource
A replay that members can read in five minutes gets used. A 90-minute video mostly does not.
Getting the recording out
Circle records live rooms and live streams for the community, and hosts can usually find the replay in the event or space afterwards. Whether a download option appears depends on your role and the community's settings, so check the recording's menu or ask the admin. The file is usually an MP4.
Course lessons too
Lessons inside a Circle course are videos someone uploaded, so the course author normally still holds the original file. Upload that, or paste the link if the lesson is also hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or a Google Drive share link.
Weekly sessions, priced
Four 90-minute sessions a month are 360 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A full year of them, 52 sessions and 4,680 minutes, sits on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. A 10-hour course library, 600 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000.
Built for a replay post
Every session returns with a brief, chapters with timestamps, the questions members asked and the names, figures and dates mentioned. Post the chapters under the replay so members jump to their topic, and use the chat to find which session covered a subject.
Replays without text
Members come back with the same question because last month's answer is buried in a video.

FAQ
Circle recordings: what hosts ask.
How long does a 90-minute session take to transcribe?
About 3 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. The public proof page /proof/long-files shows a 9.31-hour recording completed in 1,033 seconds.
What does a month or a year of sessions cost?
New visitors get the first 20 minutes free. A month of four 90-minute sessions is 360 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and a year of weekly sessions, 4,680 minutes, fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Packs are paid once and credits do not expire.
Should I tell members the room is being transcribed?
Yes. Members already expect a recording when a room is recorded, but tell them the replay will also be posted as text, and leave out personal details someone shares before you publish it.
Can I paste a link to the Circle post?
A link to the community itself cannot be fetched, because the replay sits behind a member login. Download the recording and upload it, or paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link where the same video is hosted.
What if the replay is over 2 GB?
Before your first pack, uploads stop at 2 GB; once a pack is on the account, a single file can reach 10 hours or 5 GB. A recording longer than 10 hours goes in as two files.
Which exports come back, and is the recording kept private?
Text comes back as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Community recordings are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training, and you can delete one along with its text at any time.
