From the recordings list to text

A long training webinar deserves notes that attendees can actually keep.

Downloading as the organiser

Recordings sit in the organiser's ClickMeeting account, in the storage list of past events. Some accounts have to convert or prepare the recording before it can be downloaded, so allow a little time after the webinar ends. The download is usually an MP4; check the export settings in your panel if you see other options.

Notes the same day

At about 2 minutes per audio hour, a 2.5-hour session is text in about 5 minutes. Attendees can have written notes before the end of the day, while the training is still fresh and questions are still coming in.

A series, priced

Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. A quarterly series of 8 webinars at 90 minutes is 720 minutes and goes on the $18 pack of 3,000.

What trainers and attendees get

A brief with the session's thesis and key takeaways, chapters by module with timestamps, and the names, numbers and dates the trainer gave. Trainers and guests are identified and named in the summary and the key quotes. Upload on upload page; the questions the session answered come as a list you can turn into a handout.

After the webinar

Attendees remember the first twenty minutes. The training ran for two and a half hours.

01:15:20 That brings us to the third module, which is the one most teams skip.
01:15:41 The checklist matters less than the order you do it in, so let's go step by step.
01:16:30 A question from the chat: does this apply to small teams of two or three?
01:16:48 It does, and with a small team you can skip the weekly review and do it monthly.
01:17:25 Let's take a five-minute break and come back for the case study.

FAQ

ClickMeeting recordings, answered.

Does WhipScribe connect to ClickMeeting?

No. There is no ClickMeeting integration and nothing joins your webinar room. The organiser downloads the recording and uploads it here, or pastes a YouTube or Vimeo link if the replay has been published there.

How long does a training webinar take?

About 2 minutes per audio hour, so 90 minutes takes about 3 and a 2.5-hour session about 5. A series uploaded together runs in one go.

What does a series cost?

The opening minutes are a free preview; anything longer is previewed until a pack is on the account. A 720-minute quarter goes on the $18 pack of 3,000, and a 2,880-minute year on the $32 pack of 6,000. Packs are one-time, in USD.

Can I caption the replay?

Yes. Download SRT or VTT timed to your recording and add it wherever the replay is hosted. TXT and DOCX are there for notes and handouts, JSON for anything you build yourself.

What if the recording is very large?

Each recording may be as long as 10 hours or as large as 5 GB. Uploads up to 5 GB go through before a first pack; bigger files need a split or an audio-only export. An all-day event longer than 10 hours goes up in two parts.

Which languages work, and who sees the file?

99 languages are detected automatically, so a Polish or Spanish webinar transcribes without any setting. Every file is transcribed on our own servers and never used for training.
