Transcribe long recordings made with Deity Pocket Wireless one mix, or a backup that survived the dropout.
A 1-hour episode recorded on Deity Pocket Wireless is back as text in about 2 minutes once you upload the receiver's recording or a transmitter's onboard backup, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. The opening minutes are a free preview. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
Two places the audio can be
The receiver passes both mics to a camera, phone or recorder, and each transmitter can keep a copy of its own. Pick one file per episode.
The receiver's recording first
Whatever the receiver was plugged into holds the combined sound: a camera's video clip, a phone app's file or a recorder's WAV. That one file carries both voices, so it is usually the one to upload. Copy it to a computer, or paste a Google Drive link if the episode is already in a shared folder.
The transmitter backup when the link dropped
If the wireless link broke up or the receiver was not recording, the transmitter's own copy saves the take. Connect the transmitter to a computer by USB-C; on many kits it shows up as a drive, but the manual names the folder and file format. Each backup holds one mic, so upload the backup of the person whose words you need.
One file per episode, not three
Uploading the receiver mix and both transmitter backups spends the episode's minutes three times and returns the same conversation three times. Upload the mix; reach for a backup only for the part that dropped. The box on this page takes 500 MB, and bigger files continue on the upload page.
What an episode turns into
A brief with the episode's thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps ready for show notes, the names, numbers and dates mentioned, and the questions the episode answers. Host and guest are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and SRT or VTT gives captions for the video cut.
Wireless shows without text
The backup saved the take. The show notes still started from a blank page.

FAQ
Deity Pocket Wireless recordings, answered.
How long does a 1-hour Deity Pocket Wireless episode take?
About 2 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 3-hour live recording is back in about 6.
Should I upload the receiver file or a transmitter backup?
The receiver's recording, in most cases, because it holds both voices in one file. Use a transmitter backup when the receiver missed part of the take, and trim it to the missing section if you only need that part.
What does a year of weekly episodes cost?
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes. Packs are one-time purchases and the minutes never expire.
What if the episode was streamed?
Paste the link instead of uploading: YouTube videos and live replays, Twitch and Kick VODs, Vimeo, Google Drive and podcast RSS feeds all work as links. Stream recordings over 6 hours start once a pack is on the account.
Does WhipScribe connect to Deity's app or receiver?
No. There is no integration, plugin or bot with Deity's products or apps. You copy the file and upload it, or paste a link.
Which exports come back, and who hears the audio?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, with the language detected automatically from 99. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
