Fujifilm X-S20 · clip, audio or link · about 2 min per hour

Transcribe long Fujifilm X-S20 recordings whether it was a vlog, a workshop or a sit-down.

Three hours of vlog or interview footage from a Fujifilm X-S20 comes back as text in about 6 minutes after you upload the clip or its audio, or paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link, at up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. A first visit includes the first 20 minutes free, and the 180 minutes fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 320 to spare.

One body, two kinds of long recording

X-S20 owners film themselves for an hour and other people for three. Both end up needing text.

Check the file format setting

Fujifilm bodies generally offer a choice between MOV and MP4 for video, so an X-S20 clip on the SD card could be either, depending on how the camera is set. Both are accepted as they are; if one is not, re-export it as MP4 or save just the audio.

When the camera splits the take

A long recording can arrive as several consecutive files, and heat or card speed can end a take early; your camera's manual covers how it behaves on long recordings. Upload each part, or join them in an editor first so chapters run across the whole session.

Shrink it to the sound

A 3-hour clip recorded near 50 Mbps is about 67.5 GB, so the file to send is the audio. As a 192 kbps MP3 the same three hours is about 259 MB, which fits the box on this page; the box takes files up to 500 MB, and anything larger moves on to upload page.

For a vlog and for an interview

A solo vlog returns a brief, chapters with timestamps you can paste under the video, and SRT or VTT captions. An interview returns the same, plus the guest and host named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and the names, numbers and dates they mentioned.

Long footage without a transcript

Three hours of X-S20 footage is a weekend of rewatching if the words exist only in the video.

✗ The usual pile-up

Footage stacks up, nothing gets written.

  • Clips too heavy to upload anywhere
  • Captions only for short exports
  • Chapters guessed from the timeline
  • Quotes copied by ear
  • Several files, no single record
  • Work paused until someone types it

✓ Sent here instead

The whole recording, readable in minutes.

  • Up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file
  • About 6 minutes for 3 hours
  • MOV, MP4, MP3 or a link
  • Chapters with timestamps
  • Names, numbers and dates collected
  • Exports in TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT, JSON

A three-hour photography workshop filmed on a mirrorless body.

An illustrative excerpt invented for this page, not from any real workshop; the timestamps run across three hours.

FAQ

Fujifilm X-S20 recordings, the questions people ask.

How long does a 3-hour X-S20 recording take?

About 6 minutes. Processing runs near 2 minutes per hour of audio, and the proof page lists a 9.31-hour file finished in 1,033 seconds.

What does a season of long recordings cost?

Two 3-hour recordings use 360 minutes of the $6 pack of 500 minutes, leaving 140. Eleven of them, 1,980 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 20 left.

Can I upload straight from the SD card?

If the clip is 5 GB or smaller, yes, and 2 GB or smaller before your first pack. Long X-S20 clips usually exceed that, so export the audio or a 720p copy first.

What if my recording goes beyond 10 hours?

Split it into two files at a natural pause. Up to 10 hours or 5 GB stays one file and one transcript.

Does it work for a workshop held in French or Japanese?

Yes. Both are among 99 languages detected automatically, and a recording that switches language mid-way is transcribed on its main one.

Does it connect to the camera, and is my footage safe?

There is no connection to the camera or any Fujifilm app; you upload a file or paste a link. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
