Transcribe GlobalMeet recordings webcasts and conference calls as text.
A GlobalMeet webcast or conference call recording transcribes once the organiser downloads it and uploads it here, at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 2-hour webcast is text in about 4 minutes. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
Webcast and audio conference
Formal webcasts and dial-in calls are said once. The text lets them be read many times.
Getting the file out
GlobalMeet recordings are usually made available to the organiser or account owner after the event, either as a download from the event or account portal or through your platform contact. Audio conferences are often delivered as an audio file and webcasts as video; the file type depends on how the event was set up, so check the export options or ask whoever produced it.
Small audio, bigger video
A 1-hour audio-only conference call is usually tens of megabytes and fits the box on this page easily. A 2-hour webcast with slides and camera can run to several hundred megabytes or more; anything over 500 MB continues on the main upload page, still up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. Before the first pack, uploads up to 5 GB go through.
A quarter of calls, priced
Three 2-hour webcasts are 360 minutes and six 1-hour conference calls another 360, 720 minutes in all. A single 2-hour webcast alone fits the $4 pack of 300.
What the communications team receives
A brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps for the presentation and the Q&A, and the names, figures and dates said aloud. Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. A chat over the transcript finds the exact answer an analyst or a stakeholder was given.
After the webcast
The figures were said once, on a call. Someone will need the exact words.
✗ A replay and a phone number
The webcast replay is online and the call recording is in the portal, both hard to quote from.
- Guidance paraphrased in internal notes
- Q&A answers remembered differently by each listener
- Hours spent finding one sentence
- No text for colleagues who could not dial in
- Captions missing from the replay page
- Last quarter's call impossible to compare
✓ Every call in writing
The webcast and the call, readable and searchable the same day.
- About 4 minutes for a 2-hour webcast
- Presenters named in the summary and key quotes
- Figures and dates pulled into a list
- Chapters separating remarks from questions
- DOCX for the record, SRT and VTT for the replay
- Quarter after quarter on one pack

FAQ
GlobalMeet recordings, answered.
Does WhipScribe connect to GlobalMeet?
No. There is no GlobalMeet integration and no bot dials in. The organiser downloads the recording, or receives it from the event producer, and uploads it here.
Can I paste the webcast's replay link?
Not the GlobalMeet replay link. Links work from YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, Google Drive share links and folders, and podcast feeds. A recording copied to a shared Drive folder can be pasted from there.
How long does a call take?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio: a 1-hour conference call in about 2 minutes, a 2-hour webcast in about 4, and a full-day investor event of 6 hours in about 12.
What does the first recording cost?
The opening minutes are a free preview. A short call transcribes in full; a longer one is previewed, and a pack from $4 finishes the rest from where the preview ended. One 2-hour webcast fits the $4 pack of 300 minutes.
Is the transcript a formal record?
It is an AI transcript to work from, useful for notes, recaps and checking what was said. For a formal or regulatory record, have someone review the text against the recording before you publish or file it.
Which languages, and where does the audio go?
99 languages are detected automatically, so a call held in German or Japanese needs no setting. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
