Transcribe Google Meet class recordings straight from the teacher's Drive.
A class recorded in Google Meet is saved to the organiser's Google Drive, and its share link can be pasted here when anyone with the link may view it; otherwise download the MP4 and upload it. A 55-minute lesson is ready in about 2 minutes, the opening minutes are a free preview, and 30 lessons, 1,650 minutes, fit the $18 pack of 3,000.
Drive link or downloaded file
The recording is already in Drive. Start from there.
Where Meet puts the recording
When recording is available on the school's edition, the file usually lands in a Meet Recordings folder in the organiser's My Drive, and a link is sent to the organiser and added to the calendar event. It is an MP4, so it can be pasted as a link or downloaded and uploaded as it is.
When a link works and when it does not
A share link set so that anyone with the link can view it is fetched on our side, with no download. School accounts often limit sharing to people inside the school; those links need a sign-in we do not have. In that case, download the MP4 from Drive and drop it on upload page.
Six weeks of lessons, priced
A single 90-minute staff training uses 90 of the 300 minutes in the $4 pack.
What a student gets back
Each lesson returns a brief with the main point and takeaways, timestamped chapters, the dates and page numbers said, and the questions the lesson answered. A student who was ill can read the lesson in ten minutes, then ask the chat where homework was set.

FAQ
Google Meet class recordings, answered.
Can I paste a Google Drive link to the Meet recording?
Yes, when the link is shared so anyone with it can view. Drive folders work the same way. A link limited to the school domain cannot be opened from outside, so download the MP4 and upload it instead.
How long does one lesson take?
About 2 minutes for each hour of audio: a 55-minute lesson in under 2 minutes, a 3-hour workshop in about 6.
What does six weeks of lessons cost?
Thirty 55-minute lessons are 1,650 minutes, which fit the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. The opening minutes are a free preview, and a pack finishes the rest from where the preview ended.
Does a bot join our Meet calls?
No. Nothing joins a live call and there is no Meet add-on. Recording a class needs the consent your local rules require; WhipScribe only reads the recording after the class.
Is there a size limit?
One recording may run 10 hours or weigh 5 GB. Uploads go up to 5 GB per file; a heavier file can be split or exported as audio. A Drive link is fetched, not uploaded, so your connection speed does not matter.
Which languages, files and privacy?
Any of 99 languages, detected automatically; English terms in a lesson taught in another language are handled. Exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Lessons are transcribed on our own servers and are never used to train models.
