Transcribe long recordings from HONOR Recorder share it out, read it back.
To transcribe a long recording made with the HONOR Recorder app, share the file out of the app and upload it here; a 150-minute meeting comes back as text in about 5 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free on a first visit, and three meetings that long (450 minutes) fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
Out of the phone, into text
The Recorder app kept the whole meeting. Now you can search it.
Sharing the file out
Open Recorder on the HONOR phone, press and hold the recording, and look for Share; the exact wording shifts between MagicOS versions. Send it to Google Drive, to your laptop, or save it to the phone's Files, then pick it in the box above. The format depends on the app's settings, so check what yours saves before assuming M4A or MP3.
Small files, long audio
Phone recordings are compressed, so even a full afternoon is usually a few hundred MB at most and fits the box on this page, which takes files up to 500 MB. A larger file, such as a screen recording, continues on upload page, where one file can still run to 10 hours or 5 GB.
A month of meetings, priced
Eight 150-minute meetings in a month add up to 1,200 minutes, which goes on the $12 pack of 2,000 and leaves 800 for the next month. Credits never expire and there is no subscription, so a quiet month costs nothing.
What you open afterwards
A brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, the names, numbers and dates that were said, and the questions the recording answers. The chat finds the moment a deadline was agreed, and the people in the room are named in the summary and key quotes.

FAQ
HONOR Recorder files, the common questions.
How long does a long HONOR recording take?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so 150 minutes takes about 5 and a 4-hour recording about 8. You can close the tab; the transcript waits in your account.
Where does the app keep the recordings?
It varies by model and software version. Sharing from the Recorder app is the dependable route; with a file manager, look for a folder named Sounds, Recordings or Recorder in internal storage.
Is there a size or length limit?
One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB, which a compressed phone recording almost never reaches. A recording longer than 10 hours goes up as two files.
What does the first visit cost?
Nothing for the first 20 minutes. A recording up to 20 minutes transcribes in full; a longer one is previewed, and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest from where the preview stopped.
Which languages does it handle?
99, detected automatically, including recordings that mix in English terms. A recording that switches language is detected on its main language.
What can I download, and who sees the audio?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and deleting a file removes its transcript too. WhipScribe has no integration with the Recorder app; it only sees the file you upload.
