Transcribe long sessions from a Jabra PanaCast room workshops and planning days included.
A Jabra PanaCast is the room camera; the meeting platform records the session, and that downloaded file comes back as text here, a 3-hour workshop in about 6 minutes. A first visit gets the first 20 minutes free, and the 180 minutes then sit on the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 320 remaining.
Huddle room to written record
A long workshop around one camera, written down without anyone taking notes.
The file is in the meeting software
The PanaCast connects to a computer or room system as a camera and microphone, and the call runs in Zoom, Teams, Meet or another service. Recording is that service's job, so the file sits where the service puts recordings. Download it, usually as an MP4, or copy a Google Drive share link if the session was a Meet call.
Workshops run long
A planning workshop, a design sprint review or a training afternoon in a huddle room easily runs three hours or more. One file of up to 10 hours keeps the whole session on a single clock, so a timestamp at 02:40:00 means the same moment in the text and in the video.
What a wide room does to audio
A small room with a wide camera often has people sitting close to the wall and talking at once during group work. The transcript follows the speech the microphones caught; breakout chatter that nobody aimed at the room can come back thin. For the parts that matter, one person summarising aloud helps.
From whiteboard talk to actions
You get a brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters for each block of the agenda, and the names, numbers and dates said. Participants are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters as the discussion moves. The chat over the transcript answers questions such as which option the room chose and why.

Long huddle-room sessions get recorded, then sit unwatched.

FAQ
Jabra PanaCast recordings, the common questions.
How quickly does a 3-hour PanaCast session come back?
In about 6 minutes, because transcription runs at about 2 minutes per audio hour. For a measured example, the proof page lists a 2.48-hour file finished in 200 seconds.
What does a series of workshops cost?
New visitors get the first 20 minutes of the workshop free. A single 180-minute workshop fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A monthly 3-hour workshop for a year adds up to 2,160 minutes, more than the $12 pack holds, so it belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
Where do I find the recording?
Wherever the meeting platform stores recordings: the Zoom web portal for cloud recordings, OneDrive or SharePoint for Teams, the organiser's Google Drive for Meet. The camera passes video and sound to the call; it is not the place to look for the file.
Is there a size limit for the video?
One workshop file may run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB go through; a bigger file starts once a pack is on the account. If the upload refuses the file, convert it to MP3 first.
Can the session be in Spanish, Swedish or Japanese?
Yes, among 99 languages detected automatically. Nothing needs setting, and a workshop that drifts between two languages is detected on the main one.
What exports do I get, and is the recording kept private?
Workshop exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and you can delete the session and its text whenever you like.
