Transcribe LiveWebinar recordings before storage limits make you delete them.
A LiveWebinar recording transcribes once you download it from the account's storage and upload it here, at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 3-hour workshop is text in about 6 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a course of 16 two-hour sessions (1,920 minutes) fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
From storage to text
Recording storage fills up. The text of a session takes almost no room at all.
Out of storage, into text
LiveWebinar keeps recordings in the account's storage, where the host can usually play, share or download them. Download the file, usually a video such as an MP4, and upload it here; check the recording settings if your account produces something else. If storage on your plan is capped, transcribe a session before you delete the video.
Workshop-sized files
A 3-hour workshop recorded as video can reach a gigabyte or more, depending on resolution and screen sharing. Up to 2 GB uploads before a first pack, and once a pack is on the account a single file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
A course, priced
Sixteen sessions of 2 hours make 1,920 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 with 80 left. A single 3-hour workshop, 180 minutes, fits the $6 pack of 500. The whole course comes back in about 64 minutes of processing at about 2 minutes per audio hour.
What a course leaves behind
Each session returns with a brief of its thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, numbers and dates said. Hosts and guest speakers are named in the summary and key quotes. Upload on upload page; the chat over the transcript answers students who missed a session.
When storage runs out
The old recordings get deleted. What was taught in them goes too.

FAQ
LiveWebinar recordings, answered.
Does WhipScribe connect to LiveWebinar?
No. There is no LiveWebinar integration and no bot in your rooms. Download the recording from storage and upload it, or paste a YouTube or Vimeo link if the session has been published there.
How long does a 3-hour workshop take?
Around 6 minutes, at about 2 minutes per audio hour. A full 16-session course of 1,920 minutes takes about 64 minutes, and you can upload every session at once.
What does a course cost?
A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free; a longer session is previewed, and a pack from $6 carries on from where the preview ended. A 1,920-minute course fits the $12 pack of 2,000; two such courses would move to the $24 pack of 5,000.
Can I delete the video once it is transcribed?
That is your call, and many hosts do it to free storage. Download the TXT, DOCX or JSON first; the transcript and the brief stay in your WhipScribe account until you delete them.
What about very long or large recordings?
Each file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Without a pack, uploads up to 2 GB are accepted; a heavier file waits until a pack is on the account. Anything over 10 hours goes up as two files.
Does it handle other languages, and is it private?
Speech in 99 languages is detected automatically. Everything is transcribed on our own servers, and your sessions are never used for training.
