Transcribe a long Logitech Brio recording from the app that saved it on your computer.
A 75-minute lecture or meeting recorded through a Logitech Brio comes back as text in about 2.5 minutes; upload the file your recording app saved, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and the full 75 minutes use the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
Webcam, app, file, text
A webcam stores nothing; the recording lives wherever your software put it.
The app decides the file
The Brio streams picture and, on many setups, sound to the computer, and the recording is made by the software you use: a meeting app's local recording, OBS, QuickTime on a Mac or the Camera app on Windows. Each saves to its own folder and format, usually MP4 or MOV, so check that app's recording settings for the location.
Lectures from a desk
Teachers and tutors who record from a desk can upload each lesson the moment it ends. If the class ran in a meeting app that saved to its cloud, download the recording first; if you already posted it to YouTube or Vimeo, paste the link.
4K that you don't need
Recording at 4K makes larger files without changing a word of the transcript. Most apps let you drop to 1080p or 720p for long sessions, and an audio-only copy of a 75-minute class is tiny next to the video. Lower resolution also means a quicker upload from a home connection, which matters most when a class runs past two hours.
From a Brio lecture to notes
The lecture returns with a brief, chapters with timestamps, the terms, names and dates the lecturer said and the questions it answers. Students can ask the chat over the transcript where an idea was explained and jump to that minute.
Desk recordings elsewhere
A good webcam makes recording easy, and an hour of recorded talk still takes an hour to replay.

FAQ
Logitech Brio recordings, answered.
How long does a 75-minute Brio recording take?
About 2.5 minutes at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 3-hour workshop recorded the same way takes about 6.
What does a semester of lectures cost?
Twenty-six lectures of 75 minutes come to 1,950 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000. A single lecture uses 75 minutes of the $6 pack of 500, after 20 free minutes on a first visit.
Does anything join my meeting?
No. Nothing connects to your webcam or your call; you upload the saved recording afterwards, or paste a link to where it is hosted.
Where did my recording save?
That depends on the app. Look in its recording or output settings; meeting apps, OBS and the built-in camera apps each have their own default folder. If you still cannot find it, the app's list of recent recordings usually has an option to open the containing folder.
Can a lecture be in another language?
Yes. 99 languages are detected from the speech without any setting, and a lecture that moves between two languages is transcribed on the main one.
What do I download from a Brio recording, and is it private?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON from one run. Lectures and meetings are transcribed on our own servers, and none is used for training. Teams that record every week can pick the $19 a month Workspace instead.
