Transcribe weekly meetings recorded in a Neat Bar room a quarter of decisions you can search.

A Neat Bar room records through Zoom or Teams, so you download each meeting's recording and upload it, and a 2-hour weekly meeting comes back as text in about 4 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free on a first visit, and thirteen weekly meetings of that length are 1,560 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.

Every week, two hours

The weekly leadership or team meeting is long, recurring and full of small decisions. A transcript of each week builds a record nobody has to keep by hand.

Zoom room or Teams room

Neat devices run Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams Rooms, and the recording belongs to that platform. Zoom keeps cloud recordings on its recordings page; Teams usually stores them in the organiser's cloud storage. Download the file, usually an MP4, and upload it here.

Small enough for the box

A 2-hour room recording at about 1 Mbps is near 900 MB, and an audio-only download is usually far smaller. The upload box on this page takes files up to 500 MB; anything larger continues on the main upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB.

Week after week, one place

Each meeting is its own transcript with its own chapters, so last month's discussion of a hire or a budget line is one search away in the chat. Recording a meeting needs the consent the law where you are requires; say so in the first meeting and remind newcomers.

What each week returns

A brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps per agenda item, the names, numbers and dates said, and the questions the meeting answered. Speakers are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so you can see who raised each point.

Recurring meetings

Weekly meetings repeat their arguments because nobody can find what was decided in March.

✗ The usual pattern

Meetings recorded, then lost in a folder.

  • Minutes skipped when the week is busy
  • The same debate held twice
  • Decisions without a date
  • New members missing the context
  • Recordings nobody can search
  • Action items forgotten by Friday

✓ With every week transcribed

The quarter, searchable by what was said.

  • Upload each week's file
  • About 4 minutes per 2-hour meeting
  • Agenda items as chapters
  • Decisions and dates listed
  • DOCX minutes to share
  • Thirteen weeks on one $12 pack

FAQ

Neat Bar meetings, the common questions.

How long does a 2-hour meeting take?

About 4 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, so the transcript can be in everyone's inbox before they are back at their desks.

What does a quarter or half-year of meetings cost?

Thirteen weekly 2-hour meetings are 1,560 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000. Twenty-six of them are 3,120 minutes, inside the $24 pack of 5,000. A team that records every week and wants shared access can look at the $19/month Workspace instead.

Can WhipScribe join the Neat room automatically?

No. There is no integration with Neat devices, Zoom Rooms or Teams Rooms, and no bot joins the call. Each recording is downloaded and uploaded after the meeting, or pasted as a Google Drive share link when it is stored there.

What if a meeting runs into an all-day session?

One file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Longer than that, upload it as two files. Over 2 GB, it begins after a pack is bought.

Some of the team speak French in the meeting. Is that handled?

Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, and a meeting that moves between languages is detected on its main one.

Which exports come back, and is the audio private?

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, one set per week. Every meeting is transcribed on our own servers and never used for training.
