Transcribe long Nextiva call recordings for a small team without a QA department.
A 75-minute Nextiva call recording is transcribed in about 2.5 minutes once you download it from Nextiva and upload it here, at up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. Your first 20 minutes are free, and a month of twenty calls that long comes to 1,500 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 absorbs with room to spare. Nothing connects WhipScribe to Nextiva and no bot joins your calls; only the recording you upload is read.
Getting calls out of Nextiva
In a small team, the person who needs the call is often the one who took it.
Finding the recording
Nextiva records calls on plans that include recording, and recordings are usually reached from the call history in the app or from the admin side of the account, with a download option per call. The file type depends on the account and the download path, often an MP3 or a WAV, so check what the download gives you.
Upload and wait a minute or two
Drop the downloaded call in the box above. A 75-minute MP3 at 64 kilobits per second is about 36 MB, small enough to upload in seconds on an office line. Long batches or heavy files continue on the upload page, up to 5 GB each.
A month of calls, priced
A five-person team that records the calls worth keeping, say twenty 75-minute calls a month, has 1,500 minutes of audio. That fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 500 left for the next month, since credits do not expire.
What each call gives you
A brief with the call's purpose and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, quotes, dates and figures that came up. The people on the call are identified and named in the summary and key quotes, so a colleague who missed it can catch up in a few minutes.
Where Nextiva recordings stall
Small teams record calls to protect themselves, then never find the time to read them.
✗ A call history nobody revisits
Recordings collect in the account until a client disputes what was promised.
- Seventy-five minutes replayed to find a quote
- A shared call history no one has time to search
- A new hire learning from sticky notes
- Files too big for a 25 MB API limit
- A per-seat add-on for a few calls a week
- Follow-up emails that miss the details
✓ Every kept call, readable
Upload the calls that matter and keep them as text the whole team can search.

- The first 20 minutes of a Nextiva call cost nothing

FAQ
Nextiva call recordings, the usual questions.
How quickly is a 75-minute Nextiva call transcribed?
In about 2.5 minutes once the upload ends, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A 20-minute call takes well under a minute, and a three-hour training call about 6.
How many calls does a pack cover?
The $6 pack of 500 minutes holds six 75-minute calls; the $12 pack of 2,000 holds twenty-six; the $24 pack of 5,000 suits a team that records most of its calls. On a first visit, the first 20 minutes are free, and packs are one-time with no expiry.
How do I download a call from Nextiva?
Open the call history in the Nextiva app or the admin area, find the recorded call and use its download option. If the option is missing, recording may not be part of your plan or role, so check with whoever manages the account.
What are the file limits?
A Nextiva call file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Until a first pack is on the account uploads stop at 2 GB, and anything bigger starts once one is. Phone calls almost never come close to either limit.
Is it legal to record our client calls?
Only with the consent the law where you and the client are located requires; your call announcements and team policy should cover that before any call is recorded. WhipScribe transcribes the recordings you are entitled to use and nothing else.
Which exports, and what happens to a Nextiva recording?
Nextiva calls come back as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Nextiva recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. A call in any of 99 languages is detected automatically, so a client who speaks Portuguese is handled too.
