Transcribe long recordings from Noteshelf every class you recorded in a notebook.
A class recorded inside a Noteshelf notebook can be exported as audio and uploaded here, and a 2-hour seminar comes back as text in about 4 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes holds four 2-hour seminars with 20 minutes to spare.
Notebook audio, written out
A seminar you recorded once becomes text you can search all term.
Exporting the recording
Noteshelf stores audio with the notebook page where you pressed record. Use the recording's options or the notebook's share menu to save the audio as a file; the menu names and format vary by version, so check the export settings. Then drop the file onto upload page.
Four seminars on one pack
A 2-hour seminar is 120 minutes. Four of them use 480 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack, at $0.72 an audio hour. A course of 15 such seminars is 1,800 minutes, which belongs on the $12 pack.
Works on the file, not the app
There is no Noteshelf integration and nothing added to your notebooks. WhipScribe reads the exported recording after class, so the notebook itself stays exactly as you left it.
Revision without replaying
The transcript arrives with a brief of the seminar's main points, chapters per discussion, and the questions the class answered. Search the text for a term instead of replaying two hours of audio. Paste a passage into your notebook next to the page where you wrote, and the timestamp takes you back to the moment it was said if you want to hear the tone of a remark again.
Class audio elsewhere
Two hours of seminar audio is easy to record and hard to use.

FAQ
Noteshelf recordings, the common questions.
How long does a 2-hour Noteshelf recording take?
Roughly 4 minutes, at about 2 minutes per audio hour. The public proof shows 4.94 hours finished in 372 seconds.
What do two hours cost?
Your first visit includes the first 20 minutes free; past that the class is previewed and a pack from $6 finishes it from where the preview ended. Two hours use 120 of the 500 minutes on the $6 pack, so four seminars fit with 20 minutes left.
Is there a size limit for class audio?
A single file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever it reaches first. Before a pack is on the account, files up to 2 GB upload; class audio is nearly always far smaller.
My recording is split across several pages. What now?
Export each piece and upload it separately, or join them in an audio editor for one continuous transcript. Each upload keeps its own timestamps.
Can I record a study call or a group meeting?
Recording other people talking needs the consent the law where you are requires, so ask first. Any of 99 languages is detected automatically, so a class in Spanish or Korean needs no setting.
What downloads do I get, and where is the class audio processed?
Every class can be saved as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training; you can remove a class and its text whenever you like.
