Transcribe Radiotalk recordings talks and lives, written out.
Radiotalk talks and lives transcribe from the audio you export as the host, with Japanese detected automatically, and a 2-hour live comes back as text in about 4 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and four 2-hour lives (480 minutes) fit inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
From talk to text
Short talks add up and lives run long; both are easier to read than to search by ear.
Exporting from your side
Use the audio you hold as the host: a talk exported where your account allows it, or a copy recorded on your own device while you broadcast. Check the export settings for the format; common audio files all upload. If the show is also distributed as a podcast, paste its RSS feed link instead. Upload files on upload page. Many hosts keep a local copy of each talk anyway, and that original is usually the cleanest audio to send.
Short talks, counted by the minute
Billing follows audio length, so a month of 10-minute talks posted daily is about 300 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500. Each talk can go up as its own file, and on your first visit a talk of up to 20 minutes is transcribed in full.
Lives on a pack
Two 2-hour lives a week reach 1,920 minutes over eight weeks, inside the $12 pack of 2,000. A nightly 1-hour live for a month is about 1,800 minutes, also on the $12 pack; adding the daily talks pushes it to 2,100, which needs the $24 pack of 5,000.
Reusing what you said
The brief collects the main points and the questions listeners sent in, chapters split a live by theme, and names, numbers and dates said aloud are listed with times. Use the text for a blog post, a written recap for listeners, or subtitles when you post a clip as video. When a co-host or guest joins, the summary, key quotes and chapters name them, so a two-person talk reads as a conversation.

FAQ
Radiotalk recordings, the common questions.
How long does a 2-hour live take?
About 4 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes of processing for each audio hour, and a 10-minute talk is back in well under a minute.
Can I paste a Radiotalk link?
Radiotalk page links are not read directly. Upload the audio, or paste the RSS feed if the show is distributed as a podcast.
What about English words and names?
Japanese is detected automatically, and English terms said within Japanese speech are handled. Check unusual names before you publish the text. A talk that switches into English for long stretches is detected on its main language.
Is there a ceiling on a single Radiotalk upload?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Talk audio is light, so even a very long live is far from the size limit, and a live past 10 hours would go up as two files. Before your first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB, far more than hours of talk audio need.
Do I pay for my first talk?
On your first visit the first 20 minutes are free, so a short talk is transcribed in full. A longer live is previewed, then a pack from $6 transcribes the rest where the preview stopped. Pack credits never run out, so short talks can be sent as they are made.
Which formats come back, and is there a Radiotalk integration?
Formats are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. WhipScribe has no integration with Radiotalk and no bot in it, and your talks are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
