Transcribe a long Saramonic Blink interview from the camera or phone that recorded it.
A 2-hour interview captured through a Saramonic Blink wireless kit returns as text in about 4 minutes: upload the file from the phone or camera the receiver was plugged into, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor, and the 120 minutes fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 380 to spare.
Receiver, recording, transcript
Whichever device the receiver fed is the device holding your interview.
Find the right device
A Blink receiver passes sound to whatever it is plugged into, by cable to a camera or by its connector to a phone. On a camera the interview sits inside the video file on the memory card, usually an MP4 or MOV; on a phone it is in the camera roll or the recording app you used. Some Blink models also keep a copy on the transmitter, so check the manual for yours.
Mono mix or split channels
Many dual-transmitter receivers can either mix both voices together or place each person on their own side of a stereo track. For a transcript either choice is fine, since the whole file is heard. A mixed file is simply easier to scrub through when you check a quote against the audio.
Keep the upload small
Camera video of a 2-hour sit-down can climb far past 5 GB at high bitrates. Pull the audio out in your editor as WAV or MP3, or upload a lower-resolution export, and the words come out the same. Already backed up to Google Drive? Share the link and paste it here instead.
What comes back
A brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, the questions the interview answers and every name, date and figure spoken. Both voices are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and the chat over the transcript can tell you what the guest said about pricing.
Interview transcription elsewhere
Clean wireless audio is only half the job when the conversation runs two hours.

FAQ
Saramonic Blink interviews: the questions people ask.
How long does a 2-hour Blink interview take?
Roughly 4 minutes, at about 2 minutes of processing per audio hour. For a sense of scale, the public proof page lists a 9.31-hour file done in 1,033 seconds.
What will a series of Blink interviews cost?
A single 2-hour interview takes 120 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack. A series of eight is 960 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000. First-time visitors also get 20 minutes free.
Camera file or phone file: which should I send?
Send the one with the cleanest sound, which is whichever device recorded the receiver's output. If a transmitter's own recording also exists, it is often closer to the voice and much smaller than the camera video.
Does stereo split mode cause problems?
No. A file with one voice on each side is read as a whole, so the transcript follows the conversation in order rather than handing you two separate halves.
Which languages can the guest speak?
Any of 99, recognised automatically. A guest who mixes two languages is transcribed on the main one, and a conversation in English and Tagalog is handled.
What downloads are there, and is the interview private?
TXT and DOCX for reading, SRT and VTT for captions, JSON for data. Every interview is transcribed on our own servers, and none is ever used for training.
