Transcribe Vbrick town halls and training recordings once the recording is downloaded.
A Vbrick town hall or training recording that your organisation lets you download is transcribed in about 4 minutes for 2 hours and about 8 minutes for a 4-hour training, with the first 20 minutes free. Four quarterly 2-hour town halls are 480 minutes and fit the $6 pack of 500. There is no Vbrick integration: an owner or permitted viewer saves the file and uploads it here.
From company video to company record
A town hall is watched once. Its transcript is read all year.
Downloading is an admin decision
Enterprise video platforms let administrators decide who may download a recording. If you own the video or have download rights, save it; the file is usually an MP4. If you lack the rights, ask the video's owner rather than recording the screen.
Long training days in one file
Compliance and onboarding sessions often run three or four hours. One upload takes up to 10 hours, and a file over 2 GB starts once a pack is on the account, so a full training day stays in one transcript with one timeline.
What employees asked
The question segment of a town hall is where people listen hardest. The brief lists the questions the recording answers, and the chapters jump to each answer, which makes a written follow-up for staff who missed it.
Teams that record every week
For an occasional town hall, a pack is enough: four quarterly sessions use 480 of 500 minutes. A team that records training every week can look at the $19 a month Workspace on the pricing page, or start by sending one recording to upload page.
Where long company video stalls
Most staff will not watch a four-hour training replay. Many will search its text.
✗ Video only
Long internal recordings that nobody revisits.
- Staff who missed the town hall stay uninformed
- Training content locked in a four-hour video
- A file far beyond the 25 MB cap on the Whisper API
- Clips cut by hand to fit other tools
- Questions from staff never written up
- Per-seat pricing for a few recordings
✓ With the text alongside
A searchable record of what leadership and trainers said.
- About 8 minutes for a 4-hour training
- Chapters for each agenda item
- Names, figures and dates in one list
- Employee questions gathered in one list
- DOCX for an internal summary
- SRT or VTT captions for the town hall video

FAQ
Vbrick recordings, answered.
How long does a 4-hour training recording take?
About 8 minutes; the rate is close to 2 minutes an hour. A 2-hour town hall is done in about 4.
What does a year of town halls and training cost?
Four quarterly 2-hour town halls are 480 minutes on the $6 pack of 500. A training library of 40 hours, 2,400 minutes, goes on the $24 pack of 5,000. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and credits never expire.
How large a file can be uploaded?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file, and up to 2 GB before the first pack. A recording longer than 10 hours goes in as two files; anything shorter should stay whole.
Can I transcribe a recording I can only stream?
Transcribe what you are permitted to download. WhipScribe has no access to your Vbrick portal and works only on files someone uploads.
Which languages can a town hall be in?
99 languages, detected automatically. A town hall delivered in Japanese, Portuguese or Hebrew comes back in that language, and a session that moves between two languages is detected on its main one.
Which exports, and how is internal content handled?
Town halls export as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Internal recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and any recording can be deleted with its transcript at any time.
