Transcribe vFairs session recordings from the career fair to the closing keynote.
A vFairs session recording transcribes once the organiser downloads it (usually as an MP4) and uploads it here, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 45-minute webinar is text in roughly a minute and a half. Ten such sessions from a virtual career fair add up to 450 minutes and fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and a first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free.
After the virtual fair closes
A vFairs event leaves an auditorium of talks behind. Each one can become a document.
Getting the recordings out of vFairs
Recorded sessions belong to the organiser's event, not to attendees. Look for session recordings in the organiser's event dashboard; where no download appears, your vFairs account contact can usually supply the files. Expect an MP4 in most cases, and check the export settings if a session offers several versions. WhipScribe has no integration with vFairs and no bot inside the event: it works on the file you hand it.
Webinars, booths and the main stage
A virtual fair records in several places at once: the auditorium, breakout webinars, and the videos employers play at their booths. Give each recording its own upload so every session keeps its own clock and its own chapters. If a talk was also streamed to YouTube or Vimeo, paste that link and skip the download.
Pricing a career fair
Ten webinars of 45 minutes come to 450 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes, with 50 minutes left. A larger conference of 30 sessions at 40 minutes is 1,200 minutes, which belongs on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Credits never expire, so what remains waits for next year's fair. Upload sessions one after another on upload page.
What the organiser gets back
Every session returns as a brief with its thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, numbers and dates a speaker gave, such as an application deadline. Each presenter is identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. A recap for attendees or a sponsor report starts from that page, not from rewatching.
Fair recordings, left as video
Attendees ask for the slides and the recording. Almost nobody watches the recording.

FAQ
vFairs recordings, the usual questions.
How long does a vFairs session take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 45-minute webinar is done in about a minute and a half, ten of them in around 15 minutes, and a 7-hour auditorium day in about 14 minutes. The public proof page shows 9.31 hours finished in 1,033 seconds.
What does a whole fair cost?
On a first visit the opening 20 minutes are free: a session up to 20 minutes transcribes in full, and a longer one is previewed, with a pack from $6 picking up where the preview stopped. Ten 45-minute webinars use 450 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack. A 1,200-minute conference goes on the $12 pack.
How large can one vFairs file be?
Each file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first. Before your first pack, uploads stop at 2 GB, so a long high-resolution auditorium recording starts once a pack is on the account. A day longer than 10 hours goes up as two files.
Does WhipScribe plug into vFairs?
No. There is no vFairs integration, app or bot. The organiser downloads the recordings and uploads them, or pastes a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link where a session also lives.
Our fair had sessions in several languages. Will that work?
No setting is needed. Each recording is detected on its main language, from 99, so an English keynote and a Spanish webinar each come back in their own language.
Which exports are there, and what happens to the audio?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON for every session. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and you can delete a session whenever you like.
