Transcribe the recordings from a wedding venue vows, readings and every speech.
A wedding recording of ceremony plus speeches, usually about two hours, comes back as text in roughly 4 minutes, with the vows, readings and toasts kept and the band left out. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the remaining 100 minutes with 400 to spare.
How weddings get recorded
A lapel mic on the officiant, a recorder on the top table, a camera at the back.
Where the sound comes from
At most venues the ceremony is captured by a lapel or recorder clipped near the officiant, and the speeches by the venue's PA feed or a small recorder by the microphone stand. A videographer's camera audio also works, though it hears the room more than the speaker. Any of these transcribes; the closer the mic sat to the mouth, the cleaner the text.
Music is skipped, speech is kept
The processional, the signing music, the first dance and the band are not turned into text. What comes back is everything said aloud: the welcome, the readings, the vows, the officiant's address, the toasts, the thank-yous and the best-man story that ran long.
Getting the file here
An audio file of the speeches is usually small enough for the box on this page, which takes up to 500 MB. A full camera file is bigger: it continues on upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. If the film was shared as a Vimeo or Google Drive link, or the ceremony streamed to YouTube for absent guests, paste the link instead.
Priced for one day or a season
A couple with one two-hour file uses the free 20 minutes and 100 from a $6 pack. A videographer delivering 25 weddings of two hours each needs 3,000 minutes, which the $24 pack of 5,000 covers with 2,000 left for next season. Credits do not expire.
Why the speeches get lost
Everyone remembers the speeches were good. Few remember what was said.
✗ Leaving it in the video
The words sit inside a long film that nobody scrubs through twice, and the funniest lines fade.
- A two-hour file nobody rewatches
- Captions typed by hand for the film
- A guest's phone clip with half a toast
- Free tools that stop mid-ceremony
- No way to find the vows quickly
- Upload limits below one camera file
✓ The day, written down
One upload returns the ceremony and every speech as text you can print, quote or caption.
- Vows and readings word for word
- Each speech found by its chapter
- Names of the couple and speakers in the brief
- Subtitles for the wedding film
- A keepsake booklet from the DOCX
- One file up to 10 hours or 5 GB

FAQ
Wedding venue recordings, answered.
How long does a wedding recording take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes for every hour of audio. A 40-minute ceremony is back in under 2 minutes and two hours of ceremony and speeches in around 4. You can close the tab; the text waits in your Library.
What does it cost?
On a first visit the first 20 minutes are free, which covers many ceremonies in full. A longer recording is previewed, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes transcribes the rest from where the preview ended. Packs are one-time and credits never expire.
The camera file is huge. Will it go up?
One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB start right away, and a larger file starts once a pack is on the account. Exporting the audio track alone, if your editing software offers it, makes the file far smaller.
We recorded the whole day, morning to last dance.
A day longer than 10 hours goes in as two files; splitting at the meal is the natural point. Most of a reception is music and chatter, so the speech in it is shorter than the clock suggests, and only the recording length is counted.
Some speeches were in another language.
99 languages are detected automatically. Each file is transcribed on its main language, so a ceremony held entirely in Spanish or Tagalog comes back in that language. If one speech switched languages, upload it as its own clip for the cleanest result.
Who sees the recording?
Only you, and anyone you share the text with. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Exports come as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
