Transcribe Workday Learning training videos every programme as text HR can search.
Upload the original file behind a Workday Learning video and it is transcribed at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 3-hour leadership session is text in about 6 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free; a 10-module compliance refresh of 25-minute videos (250 minutes) fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
From catalogue to text
Learning admins publish the video. Employees still ask HR what the policy said.
Find the master file
Videos in Workday Learning are uploaded by learning admins, so the original usually sits with the L&D team or the producer, often as an MP4. Whether a learner can download a copy depends on how the content was set up, so the production folder or a shared drive is the easier place to start. Videos already on Vimeo, YouTube or Drive paste as links.
Large and long files
The box here takes files up to 500 MB; a long recorded session continues on the main upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. Before a first pack, files up to 2 GB upload; a larger one starts once a pack is on the account.
A programme, priced
Ten compliance modules at 25 minutes are 250 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A new-manager programme of six 3-hour sessions is 1,080 minutes. Both together are 1,330 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000, leaving 670, and all of it is text in about 45 minutes.
What comes back for L&D
A brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters for each topic, every figure, deadline and date the trainer said, and the questions the session answers, a ready start for an assessment or a job aid. Trainers and guests are named in the summary and key quotes.

FAQ
Workday Learning videos: L&D questions.
Is this a Workday integration?
No. WhipScribe does not connect to Workday and installs nothing in your tenant. It transcribes the video files your team holds, or a Vimeo, YouTube or Drive link you paste.
Can we transcribe vendor content in our catalogue?
Check the licence first. Off-the-shelf courses usually restrict copying; recordings your own trainers made are yours to transcribe.
Do recorded sessions with employee questions need care?
Yes. Live-session recordings often contain colleagues' names and personal questions, so review the transcript before sharing it beyond the original audience, and delete what you no longer need.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
About 2 minutes per audio hour. The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor; a longer video is previewed and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest. 250 minutes fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes; 1,330 minutes need the $12 pack of 2,000. Credits never expire.
Our trainers speak several languages. Is that a problem?
No. 99 languages are detected automatically per file, and a session that switches language is detected on its main language. Music beds and sound effects are not transcribed.
Where are the videos processed?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
