Transcribe Zoom Events recordings keynotes, breakouts and panels, session by session.
A Zoom Events recording transcribes once the host downloads each session and uploads it here, at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a two-day event of 14 sessions averaging 45 minutes (630 minutes) is text in about 21 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the whole event fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 1,370 to spare.
From the event hub to text
A virtual event is a stack of separate recordings. Treat it that way.
Getting the session files
Zoom Events usually records each session on its own, so a two-day event leaves a list of recordings rather than one long file. The host or an event co-editor downloads them from the recordings tied to the event; the file is usually an MP4, and the exact menu depends on your plan and role. Name each file after its session before you upload, and the transcripts sort themselves.
How big the files get
Video for a 45-minute breakout is often a few hundred megabytes, well inside the 2 GB that uploads before a first pack. A main-stage track recorded as one long stream can run to many hours; one file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. If a full-day MP4 passes 5 GB, export the audio alone or split the day at lunch.
The event, priced
Fourteen sessions at 45 minutes each make 630 minutes. That is more than the $6 pack covers, so it sits on the $12 pack of 2,000 with 1,370 minutes left for the next event. A single 60-minute keynote alone fits inside the $6 pack of 500. Minutes never expire, so an annual event can draw on the same pack next year.
What the content team gets
Each session returns with a brief carrying its thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, figures and dates the speakers mentioned. Speakers are identified and named in the summary and key quotes. Upload on upload page, then ask the chat which breakout covered pricing and jump to that minute.
After the event closes
Attendees ask for the slides. What they wanted was what the speakers said.

FAQ
Zoom Events recordings, answered.
Does WhipScribe connect to Zoom Events?
No. There is no Zoom Events integration, no app in the event hub and no bot in the sessions. The host downloads the session recordings and uploads them here, or pastes a link if a session has been republished on YouTube or Vimeo.
How long does a whole event take?
Plan on about 2 minutes per audio hour. A 45-minute breakout comes back in about 90 seconds, a two-day event of 630 minutes in roughly 21 minutes, and the sessions can be uploaded together.
What does a multi-day event cost?
A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, so a short session transcribes in full and a longer one is previewed. For the full event, 630 minutes goes on the $12 pack of 2,000. A three-day event of 1,800 minutes still fits that pack.
Can I paste the event's replay link?
Not the Zoom Events link itself; it is not one of the sources WhipScribe fetches. Links work from YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, Google Drive share links and folders, and podcast feeds. A Drive folder holding every session file is the quickest route for a big event.
What if a main-stage recording is huge?
One file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB go through; a larger file starts once a pack is on the account. A stage that ran longer than 10 hours goes up as two files.
Which languages, and where does the audio go?
Each session's language is detected automatically from 99, so an English keynote and a Spanish breakout come back in their own languages. Everything runs on our own servers, and no recording is ever used for training. Exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
