Transcribe parliamentary and legislative sessions in Brazil from the stream link, no download.
A legislative sitting or committee hearing in Brazil that was streamed and left online can be transcribed by pasting its link: an 8-hour sitting is back in about 16 minutes, with Portuguese detected automatically. The first 20 minutes are free, the full 8 hours uses 480 minutes of a $6 pack of 500, and a live replay over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account.
What a long sitting becomes
Hours of debate, readable and searchable by member and by minute.
Start from the link
Plenary sittings and committee hearings are often streamed and kept online afterwards. Paste the YouTube link, including a live replay, and the audio is fetched for you. A recording saved to Google Drive works by link the same way. upload page
Each speech, named
Members, rapporteurs and invited experts are identified and named in the summary, the key quotes and the chapters. Following one member's interventions across a long sitting no longer means watching all of it.
The figures, collected
The brief pulls out the bill numbers, sums, dates and deadlines that were said, and the chapters track the agenda as it moved. A chat answers questions such as what the rapporteur said about the amendment.
Long sittings, one timeline
One recording can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and an 8-hour sitting is processed in about 16 minutes. A sitting that ran past 10 hours is sent as two links or two files.
Why sittings go unread
The record exists, but it is buried in a long video.

FAQ
Legislative session recordings, the common questions.
How long does a long sitting take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so an 8-hour plenary sitting is ready in about 16 minutes and a 3-hour committee hearing in about 6. A link is usually quicker than uploading the same video yourself.
What does a week of hearings cost?
Suppose five committee hearings of about 3 hours each: 15 hours, or 900 minutes. That is more than a $6 pack holds, so the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers the week with about 18 hours to spare. One 8-hour sitting alone fits the $6 pack.
Is there a limit for one sitting?
Each sitting can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. A live replay longer than 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account, and an uploaded file over 2 GB does too. A sitting longer than 10 hours is sent as two parts.
Do I need to cut the video first?
No, unless it runs past 10 hours. Paste the full link and it comes back as one transcript, with the chapters marking where each agenda item and each speaker begins.
Which languages are supported?
Portuguese is detected automatically, and 98 other languages are too, so a visiting delegation speaking Spanish or English is handled in its own file. A sitting that switches language mid-way is transcribed on its main language.
What can I download, and is the recording private?
Downloads come as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. JSON keeps the timestamps for a research dataset, and DOCX suits a briefing note. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
