Transcribe research interviews in Singapore ready for coding the same day.
Research interviews recorded in Singapore usually run 60 to 120 minutes each, and each one comes back as text at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 90-minute interview takes roughly 3 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a study of twenty 75-minute interviews is 1,500 minutes, which fits on the $12 pack of 2,000.
What a qualitative study needs
Dozens of interviews, transcribed the week they happen, so analysis can start.
DOCX for your coding software
Download each interview as DOCX and import it into the qualitative coding software your team uses. TXT and JSON come from the same run if your workflow prefers plain text or a script.
The study's arithmetic
Twenty interviews of 75 minutes are 1,500 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000. Thirty interviews of 90 minutes are 2,700 minutes, which belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. All prices are in US dollars and the minutes never expire between fieldwork rounds.
Back to the audio while coding
Every passage carries its timestamp. When tone matters for a code, play the recording from that minute instead of searching a 90-minute file for the hesitation you remember.
A brief before the close read
Each interview returns with a brief of the main themes and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, places and dates the participant mentioned. The interviewer and participant are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.
Why transcription holds up a study
Fieldwork ends in a month. Typing the interviews takes three.
✗ Typing and backlog
Each hour of interview takes four to six hours to type, and the backlog grows faster than analysis can start.
- Hours of typing per interview
- A backlog that delays coding
- Files split to fit an upload limit
- No timestamps to check tone
- Inconsistent formats across typists
- A monthly plan that outlasts the study
✓ Interviews ready to code
Each recording becomes a DOCX with timestamps on the day it was recorded.
- About 3 minutes for 90 minutes
- First 20 minutes free
- $12 for 2,000 minutes, credits never expire
- Participant named in the summary
- Themes listed in the brief
- DOCX, TXT and JSON from one run

FAQ
Research interviews, answered.
How long does a 90-minute interview take to transcribe?
About 3 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A 2-hour interview takes about 4. A day of fieldwork interviews is usually ready before you have finished your field notes.
What does a whole study cost?
Twenty interviews of 75 minutes come to 1,500 minutes, which fits on the $12 pack of 2,000. Thirty interviews of 90 minutes come to 2,700 and belong on the $24 pack of 5,000. A pilot of five interviews fits on the $6 pack of 500, and the first 20 minutes of your first recording are free.
Does the DOCX work with qualitative coding software?
DOCX is a standard Word document, which most qualitative coding software imports. TXT works for tools that prefer plain text, and JSON carries the timestamps for scripts.
Are there limits on the file?
Every interview file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Without a pack, the upload ceiling is 2 GB. Research interviews are rarely near either limit.
Our participants speak Mandarin, Malay or Tamil. Does that work?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, including English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil, and each interview is transcribed in the language it was held in. An interview that switches language is detected on its main language.
Who can see the interviews?
Interview recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You can delete a recording and its transcript at any time, which helps if your ethics approval sets a retention period.
