Hearings up to 10 h · YouTube link, no upload · first 20 min free

Transcribe a Taglish Senate hearing straight from its YouTube link.

To transcribe a Philippine Senate or House hearing recorded in Taglish, paste its YouTube link: a 6-hour hearing comes back in about 12 minutes, and the first 20 minutes are free. Stream replays longer than 6 hours start once a pack is on the account, and the $6 pack (500 minutes) covers a full 8-hour hearing.

What a hearing replay becomes

A whole day of testimony, as text you can search and quote by the minute.

No download, no upload

Committee hearings of the Senate and the House of Representatives are streamed and kept on YouTube. Paste the replay link and the audio is fetched on our side, so a hearing that ran from morning into the evening never passes through your laptop or your data plan.

Long replays, stated plainly

A replay of up to 6 hours starts right away. A longer one, up to the 10-hour limit per file, starts once a pack is on the account, and a hearing that went past 10 hours has to be downloaded and sent as two files.

Find the exchange you need

Chapters with timestamps break the hearing into opening statements, each resource person's testimony and the questioning. The brief lists the names, amounts, dates and agencies that came up, and the chat answers a question such as what a witness said about a particular contract. Reporters on deadline can go from a question in the chat to the timestamp, and from the timestamp to the exact second of video.

A working text, not the official record

What you get is an AI transcript with timestamps for reporters, researchers and staff to work from. It is not the official journal of the hearing, not a certified transcript, and not legal advice.

Why hearings are hard to work from

Eight hours of video, and the answer you need is somewhere in hour five.

✗ Scrubbing through the replay

A hearing replay has no index, auto-captions mangle Filipino, and a news clip gives one minute out of eight hours. Hearings also stop for suspensions and caucuses, so the useful testimony is spread across a long video with dead air in between.

  • Auto-captions that guess at Tagalog
  • Scrubbing a 7-hour video for one answer
  • Quotes copied from a news clip
  • Upload tools capped at an hour or two
  • Download, then upload, then wait
  • No way to search the whole hearing

✓ One link, the whole hearing

Paste the replay link and read the full hearing as searchable text on one clock.

  • The replay link is the whole input
  • About 16 minutes for an 8-hour hearing
  • Filipino and English kept as testified
  • Senators and witnesses named in the summary and quotes
  • Timestamps to cite the exact moment
  • SRT, VTT, DOCX, TXT and JSON at once

FAQ

Senate and House hearing recordings: the common questions.

How long does an 8-hour hearing take to transcribe?

About 16 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 4-hour committee hearing is usually done in about 8. The link is fetched on our side first, which on a very long replay can add a few minutes before transcription begins.

What does a full hearing cost?

An 8-hour hearing is 480 minutes, which the $6 pack (500 minutes) covers in one go after the first 20 minutes free. If you follow a series, 30 hours of hearings is 1,800 minutes and fits the $12 pack (2,000 minutes). Suspensions and breaks still count as minutes of audio, because the replay is transcribed end to end.

Why does a long replay need a pack before it starts?

Stream replays from YouTube, Twitch or Kick that run longer than 6 hours start once a pack is on the account. Replays of 6 hours or less start at once.

Is there a length limit, and when would I split a hearing?

One file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and an upload before the first pack is limited to 2 GB. Only a hearing longer than 10 hours needs splitting: download it and send it as two files. A hearing you saved yourself as a video file also works, and anything above 2 GB waits for a pack.

How accurate is Taglish from a hearing room?

Tagalog/Filipino and English, including switches mid-sentence, come back cleanly when the microphones are clear. A senator or witness speaking Cebuano, Ilocano or another regional language is transcribed by the same model with lower accuracy, so read those passages as a fast first draft and check them once against the video. Speech from the gallery, away from any microphone, is the weakest part of any hearing recording.

Which exports are there, and is my research kept private?

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON; SRT and VTT let you caption a segment you cut from the hearing yourself. Hearing audio you send is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training.
