The talk, not the playlist
Presenters, studio guests and callers are transcribed; songs, music beds and sound effects are not. The timestamps keep the original running time, so a quote found in the text can be played straight from the recording.

The brief lists the topics of the hour, chapters mark each segment and caller with a timestamp, and the questions the show answered come back as a list. Presenters, studio guests and callers who give their names are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.

What does a season of a weekday show cost?
Eighty one-hour shows are 4,800 minutes, inside the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Thirty shows are 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000, and a single week of six is 360 minutes on the $6 pack of 500.
Can a full day of broadcast go in one file?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file, whichever comes first, so a broadcast day longer than 10 hours goes in as two files. Until a pack is on the account, each upload can be up to 2 GB.
Presenters mix Tamil and English. How does the transcript handle that?
No. The show is detected on its main language, Tamil, and English switches are handled. Callers on a phone line sound thinner than the studio microphones, so their passages deserve a quick check.
Do songs end up in the transcript?
No. Songs, music beds and sound effects are not transcribed; the speech is. A presenter talking over the start of a song is still speech and is kept.
Which exports come back, and who sees the recordings?
Each hour exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Broadcast recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Transcribe programmes you have the right to use.
