What a full day turns into

Morning to close, as text the absent staff can actually read.

No cutting the file up

Leave the camera or recorder running from the welcome to the close. One file can hold up to 10 hours, so a full day goes in whole, and the transcript keeps one clock from the first word to the last.

A chapter per module

Each module, exercise and debrief gets a chapter with its start time. Staff who missed the afternoon can open the session on incident reporting at 2:10 and read only that part.

Questions from the room

The questions the recording answers are listed for you, which turns a day of discussion into an FAQ for the next intake. Names of procedures, forms and dates are listed beside the text.

Large video files

A full day of 1080p video can pass 2 GB. Files up to 2 GB start before your first pack, and with a pack on the account a file up to 5 GB uploads on upload page. Exporting the audio track alone makes the file much smaller.

Why training days go unwatched

Nobody replays a seven-hour video to find one procedure.

✗ The recording on a shared drive

The day was recorded, but the recording is too long to be useful.

  • Seven hours with no table of contents
  • Upload tools that refuse files this long
  • Splitting the video into parts first
  • Handouts that miss what was said
  • New staff asking the same questions
  • No captions for staff who need them

✓ The day as a document

Each module can be found, read and quoted.

  • Around 14 minutes for seven hours
  • Whole days up to 10 hours, 5 GB
  • Chapters by module
  • Presenters named in the summary and quotes
  • SRT or VTT captions for the video
  • Questions from the room listed

FAQ

Training day recordings, the common questions.

How long does a 7-hour training day take?

Fourteen minutes or thereabouts. Processing runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour of recording, and the proof page lists a 9.31-hour file done in 1,033 seconds, so even a long day with a late finish is ready quickly.

What does one training day cost?

A 7-hour day is 420 minutes and fits on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. If you run a four-day program of the same length, 1,680 minutes, the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes is the one to buy. Prices are in US dollars, and the minutes never expire.

Can I upload the full day as one file?

Yes, up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first. A file over 2 GB starts once a pack is on the account. A day that ran past 10 hours needs to be split into two files.

We record on Teams. How do I get the file in?

Download the Teams recording first, then upload it here. Zoom cloud recordings, YouTube links and Google Drive share links also work; a Drive link avoids the upload.

Can trainees in other languages read it?

The recording is transcribed in the language spoken, detected automatically among 99 languages. Presenters and participants are named in the summary, the key quotes and the chapters.

What exports come back, and where is the recording processed?

A single pass yields TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
