Transcribe full training days in Peru split by module, not by hand.
A training day recorded in Peru usually runs six to eight hours, and one 8-hour file comes back as text in about 16 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers all 480 minutes of the day. The transcript returns in chapters that follow the modules, so a participant can find the session they missed.
One day, one upload
Leave the camera running all day; the modules get sorted afterwards.
No cutting the recording
Most recordings of a full day are one long file, because nobody stops the camera at lunch. Upload it as it is from the upload page: a single file can hold 10 hours or 5 GB, and the day keeps one clock from the welcome to the last question.
Chapters by module
The day comes back divided where the topic changed: the welcome, each module, the exercises and the questions at the end. Every chapter has a start time, so a participant who missed the afternoon can open that module and read only it.
Breaks and room noise left out
Lunch, coffee breaks and the music played while people return are skipped, because only speech is transcribed. Group exercises with several voices at once are the hardest part of a training day, so expect those stretches to need a closer read.
Eight hours, priced
Eight hours is 480 minutes, so one $6 pack of 500 minutes finishes the day with 20 minutes over, about $0.72 per audio hour. A provider running an 8-hour day every week uses 1,920 minutes a month, which the $12 pack covers.
Why full days go untranscribed
Eight hours is longer than most tools will take in one piece.
✗ The day in fragments
When a file is too long or too large, the day gets cut into parts and the timeline breaks with it.
- Upload forms that refuse a full day
- Cutting the file at every break
- A clock that resets in every part
- Notes taken by one participant
- Paying monthly for an occasional course
- Module boundaries found by scrubbing
✓ The day in one transcript
The whole day stays one document, with one clock from the first welcome to the closing questions.
- Around 16 minutes for the 8-hour day
- 10 hours or 5 GB allowed per file
- Chapters per module with start times
- Spanish detected, no setting
- Questions from the room captured
- $6 pack of 500 minutes covers it

FAQ
Full training days, answered.
How long does an 8-hour training recording take?
About 16 minutes, and a 6-hour day around 12. For a sense of the upper end, our public run turned 9.31 hours of audio into text in 1,033 seconds, a little over 17 minutes.
What does a full day cost to transcribe?
A 6-hour day is 360 minutes and an 8-hour day is 480, and both fit the $6 pack, which holds 500. The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor, so you can check the start of your own recording first. Pack prices are shown in US dollars.
The video of the day is over 2 GB. What happens?
Uploads before a first pack are capped at 2 GB, and a larger file starts as soon as a pack is on the account. From then on, one file can be up to 5 GB. If the full-day video is bigger than that, export the audio alone and upload it.
The day ran 11 hours with the evening session. Do I split it?
Yes, in that case only. One file holds up to 10 hours, so an 11-hour recording goes in as two files, for example the day and the evening, each with its own timeline.
Which languages does a training recording support?
99 languages are detected automatically, Spanish among them. A recording that changes language is transcribed on its main language, so a module given in English inside a Spanish day is worth checking against the audio.
Which exports work for a training archive, and is it private?
DOCX for handouts, SRT or VTT to caption the video on your learning platform, TXT and JSON for search. Course recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
