multi-day events · one file per session · first 20 min free

Transcribe conference recordings in Peru every session from one folder.

A multi-day conference in Peru leaves dozens of session files, and pasting the shared Google Drive folder link brings them all in, each transcribed at about 2 minutes per hour of audio. A two-day event with 30 one-hour sessions is 1,800 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers, and the first 20 minutes are free to judge the result. Each session comes back as its own transcript with chapters and the speakers named in the summary.

After the event

The recordings already sit in a folder. Turn that folder into an archive you can search.

A Drive folder, one paste

Share the Google Drive folder that holds the session recordings and paste its link. The files are pulled on our side, so nobody has to download forty videos and upload them again over a venue connection.

Each session on its own

Every recording stays a separate transcript with its own title, brief and chapters. A keynote, a panel and a workshop from the same day do not run together, and you can send one session's text to its speaker.

Language decided per file

Language is detected for each recording, so a Spanish keynote and an English panel in the same folder each come back in the language they were given in. Within one session, the transcript follows the main language spoken.

Three days, costed

Three days of ten one-hour sessions is 1,800 minutes, on the $12 pack at $0.36 per audio hour. A larger event with 70 hours of sessions is 4,200 minutes and goes on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.

What usually happens to the recordings

The event ends, and forty session videos sit in a folder nobody opens.

✗ Recordings nobody can search

Session videos are kept but rarely watched again, because finding one remark means opening files one by one.

  • Downloading every video to upload it again
  • Long sessions rejected for size
  • One transcription order per session
  • Speaker quotes lost after the event
  • No captions for the published videos
  • Sessions in two languages handled apart

✓ An archive with text

Every session becomes a transcript you can search, quote and caption within the same afternoon.

  • Paste one Drive folder link
  • Roughly 2 minutes per audio hour
  • A brief and chapters per session
  • Speakers named in summary and quotes
  • SRT and VTT for each video
  • Credits that never expire between events

A panel session, as chapters.

This sample is illustrative, written for this page in Spanish, and it does not quote a real conference or panelist. Labels mark chapters; panelists are named in the summary and quotes.

FAQ

Conference recordings, the questions organizers ask.

How fast do conference sessions come back?

Each session is processed at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a one-hour talk takes about 2 minutes and a 3-hour workshop about 6. A whole folder finishes in a small fraction of the event's running time.

What does a two-day conference cost to transcribe?

Count the session hours. Twenty-five hours is 1,500 minutes and fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, and above 2,000 minutes the $24 pack holds 5,000. First-time visitors get the first 20 minutes free on their own recording.

Which links work besides Google Drive?

Google Drive files and folders, YouTube videos and live replays, and Vimeo all work from the link. A recording on Facebook needs downloading first, then uploading. Uploaded files can be up to 5 GB each, or 2 GB before a first pack.

One room recorded all day in a single file. Is that a problem?

Not if it is under 10 hours, because one file can hold 10 hours or 5 GB. The chapters then mark where one talk ended and the next began. A recording longer than 10 hours goes in as two files.

Can the transcripts become captions for the published videos?

Yes. Download SRT or VTT for each session and add it to the video wherever you publish it. DOCX and TXT suit a written proceedings document, and JSON suits a website archive.

Who sees the session recordings?

Conference recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Any session and its transcript can be deleted once the archive is built.
