Transcribe university lecture recordings in Brazil a three-hour aula, turned into notes.
A recorded university lecture in Brazil, an aula gravada of two or three hours, comes back here in about 4 to 6 minutes with Portuguese detected automatically. The first 20 minutes are free, a single 3-hour class uses 180 minutes of a $6 pack of 500, and a 15-week semester of 3-hour lectures fits a $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
From aula to study notes
A long class becomes something you can revise from.
Long classes in one file
Evening and weekend classes in Brazil often run three hours with a break in the middle. Record the whole thing; one file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and the break simply shows up as a gap in the timestamps.
Chapters that follow the board
The transcript is split into chapters with timestamps as the lecturer moves from topic to topic. Before an exam, you can go straight to the chapter on the theorem or the case and read only that part. upload page
Links work without downloading
If the class was posted to YouTube or saved in a Google Drive folder, paste the link and nothing has to be downloaded first. A folder of a whole course is picked up file by file.
Ask the lecture a question
A chat over the transcript answers questions like which readings the professor assigned for next week or how a formula was explained. The brief also lists the terms, names and dates said in class.
Why recorded classes go unread
Nobody rewatches three hours to find one definition.
✗ Recordings that pile up
Every week adds another long video that is easier to skip than to review.
- Three-hour videos with no index
- Scrubbing back and forth to find one example
- Free tools that end at 30 or 60 minutes
- Notes that missed the second half of class
- Copying captions out of a video player
- A semester of files nobody opens again
✓ A semester you can search
Each class becomes text with structure, ready for revision.
- About 6 minutes for a 3-hour aula
- Chapters by topic, with timestamps
- Portuguese detected, no setting to pick
- A brief with key terms and dates
- A chat that answers questions about the class
- The whole term on one $24 pack

FAQ
Lecture recordings, the usual questions.
How long does a 3-hour aula take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes. Processing runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 2-hour class is about 4 minutes. A large video file may take longer to upload than to transcribe on a slow connection.
What does a whole semester cost?
A 15-week course with one 3-hour lecture a week is 45 hours, or 2,700 minutes. That is more than the $12 pack of 2,000, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes is the one that covers it, at $0.29 an audio hour, and the remaining 2,300 minutes cover most of a second course.
Can I upload a long lecture video?
Yes. A single class file may run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before a pack is on the account, uploads up to 2 GB go through; a longer high-resolution class video may be bigger, and sending the audio, or a YouTube or Drive link, avoids the upload entirely.
Should I cut the class at the break?
No need. A lecture up to 10 hours stays one file with one timeline, and the break appears as a pause. Only a recording past 10 hours has to become two files.
Does it handle Portuguese and English in the same class?
Portuguese is detected automatically, along with 98 other languages, including English and Spanish for visiting lecturers. When a class switches language, it is transcribed on its main language, so check any long passages read in another language.
Which files can I download, and who sees my recordings?
Class notes download as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and a lecture and its transcript can be deleted whenever you like.
