Transcribe university lectures in Singapore a semester at a time.
University lectures recorded in Singapore usually run two to three hours, and each one comes back as text in about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 3-hour lecture takes roughly 6 minutes. Your first 20 minutes are free, and a full module of twelve 2-hour lectures is 1,440 minutes, which fits on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
What a semester of lectures needs
Thirteen weeks of lectures, searchable the night before the exam.
Long lectures stay whole
A double lecture with a break in the middle is still one recording. Upload it as it is: a file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and the timestamps carry on across the break so a reference to slide 40 still points to the right minute.
The numbers for a module
Twelve weekly lectures of two hours come to 1,440 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000. Three modules of that size come to 4,320 minutes, which the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes covers. Prices are in US dollars and the minutes never expire.
Chapters you can revise from
Each lecture comes back with chapters marking where the topic changed, a brief with the main argument and takeaways, and the definitions, dates and figures the lecturer stated. Revision starts from the chapter list instead of from minute zero.
Four languages, detected
English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are among the 99 languages detected without a setting. A lecture given mainly in English with a Mandarin aside is detected on its main language, English.
Why lecture recordings sit unused
Nobody rewatches a three-hour video to find one formula.
✗ Video only
A lecture capture link is easy to save and slow to search, and most transcription tools stop at a short clip.
- Scrubbing three hours for one example
- Upload caps far below a full lecture
- Typing notes while also listening
- No index of where topics change
- Captions you cannot download
- A monthly fee for one semester
✓ Text you can search
Every lecture becomes a document with chapters and a clock, made from the same recording.
- About 6 minutes for a 3-hour lecture
- First 20 minutes free
- A whole module on the $12 pack
- Lecturer and questioners named in the summary
- Chat that answers questions about the lecture
- DOCX for notes, SRT for the video

FAQ
Lecture recordings in Singapore, answered.
How fast is a 3-hour lecture transcribed?
About 6 minutes, because processing runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 2-hour lecture takes about 4. You do not need to keep the page open.
What does a module of lectures cost?
Count the minutes. Twelve 2-hour lectures are 1,440 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 covers, leaving 560 minutes for tutorials. A single 3-hour lecture uses 180 minutes of the $6 pack of 500. Your first visit includes 20 minutes free.
The lecture video is large. Is there a size limit?
A single lecture file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before a pack is on the account, uploads go up to 2 GB, and a bigger file starts once a pack is there. If the lecture is on YouTube or a Google Drive share link, paste the link and nothing has to upload.
Do I need to split a double lecture?
No. A double lecture is far under the 10-hour ceiling, so send it as one file and keep one timeline. Only a recording longer than 10 hours needs to go in as two files.
Which languages are supported?
99 languages are detected automatically, including English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. A lecture that switches language is detected on the language spoken most, so a mostly English lecture comes back in English.
Which formats can I export, and is the recording private?
Lecture text downloads as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Lecture recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
