Transcribe workshop day recordings module by module.
An 8-hour workshop day recorded in Sweden is transcribed in about 16 minutes, and at 480 minutes it fits the $6 pack of 500 on its own. Swedish or English is detected automatically, and the day comes back with chapters for each module and the decisions, owners and dates that were said.
After a long day in the room
The whole day as a document, split where the modules split.
Chapters per module
A workshop day moves through blocks: an introduction, exercises, group reports, a summing up. Chapters with timestamps follow those changes, so the report-back from group three can be read without the morning around it. Breaks and silent exercises leave no text behind, which keeps the document shorter than the day.
Actions that survive the day
Workshops end with who does what by when, and those lines are the first to be forgotten. The brief lists names, numbers and dates spoken, and the chat answers questions like which deadline was agreed for the pilot.
Eight hours, one upload
One file may run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, so the full day does not need cutting. Long video is heavy: 1080p at about 4 Mbit/s for 8 hours is roughly 14 GB, while the audio at 128 kbit/s is about 460 MB. Send the audio track on the upload page.
Mixed rooms
Many Swedish workshops run in Swedish with an English module, or the other way round. Each file is detected on its main language and the switches are handled.
Why workshop output fades
Flip charts get photographed. What was said next to them does not.
✗ A day kept on sticky notes
The facilitator runs the room and nobody captures the discussion.
- Group reports reduced to photos
- Agreed owners forgotten by Monday
- An 8-hour video nobody scrubs
- A file split into many pieces
- Contributions without context
- Absent colleagues left guessing
✓ A day kept as text
The recording comes back structured, searchable and ready for the follow-up note.
- Text for 8 hours in about 16 minutes
- Chapters by module
- Names and dates listed
- Facilitators named in the summary
- Swedish or English detected
- One full day from a single $6 pack

FAQ
Workshop days in Sweden, the common questions.
How long does an 8-hour day take to transcribe?
About 16 minutes, at close to 2 minutes per audio hour. A 6-hour day is back in about 12, so the follow-up note can go out before the participants have reached home.
What does a workshop cost?
One 8-hour day is 480 minutes, which the $6 pack of 500 covers. A two-day workshop of 960 minutes fits the $12 pack of 2,000, and so does a series of four 8-hour days at 1,920 minutes. Credits never expire.
Can I try it on part of the day?
A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, usually the facilitator's introduction; a pack transcribes the rest from where that preview ended.
The video of our day is bigger than 5 GB. What now?
Export the audio track, which for 8 hours at 128 kbit/s is about 460 MB, or split the video into two files. Should the upload refuse a file, convert it to MP3 first and try again. Until the first pack is bought, each upload can be up to 2 GB.
Does it handle Swedish?
Yes, Swedish is detected automatically, among 99 languages. A day that switches into English for a guest module is detected on its main language, and the switches are handled.
What do I take away, and is the recording private?
A DOCX for the follow-up note, TXT, SRT and VTT for the recording, and JSON for whoever builds the archive, all with chapters and the brief. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
