A training day recorded as one 6 to 8 hour file is transcribed in 12 to 16 minutes, with each module as its own chapter. The first 20 minutes are free, and a 7-hour day of 420 minutes fits on a $6 pack of 500 minutes.

What a day of training turns into

Eight hours of teaching, organised so a single module can be found again in a minute.

Keep the recorder running

Leave the recorder running from the welcome to the closing round. A file up to 10 hours or 5 GB goes in whole, so there is no need to stop at lunch or cut the day into parts before you drop it on the upload page.

Chapters by module

Chapters fall where the subject changes, so the morning on procedures, the case exercise and the afternoon on tools each sit under their own timestamp. A participant who missed the afternoon reads that chapter rather than watching four hours of video.

Handouts from what was said

The brief sets out the day's main points and takeaways, and the names, numbers and dates said aloud are listed apart. That is the start of a summary for participants, written from the session itself rather than from the slides.

Breaks are not text

Music, sound effects and crowd noise are not transcribed. Coffee-break playlists and the hum of the room stay out, and what comes back is the speech: the trainer's explanations, the questions from the room and the answers to them.

Why training days go unused

An eight-hour day is easy to record and hard to use afterwards.

✗ The recording as it usually ends up

Training recordings are kept for the people who missed the day, and almost nobody watches eight hours to find one answer.

  • A video too long to scrub through
  • Recordings split by hand at each break
  • Notes as good as whoever wrote them
  • Questions from the room lost
  • Nothing useful to send absent colleagues
  • Upload limits reached before lunch

✓ The day as a document

The whole recording becomes one text with chapters, so a module can be found and reread quickly.

  • One file up to 10 hours
  • Eight hours of teaching back in 16 minutes
  • A chapter for each module
  • Trainer named in the summary
  • Key figures and dates pulled out
  • DOCX ready for a course handout

FAQ

Full-day recordings, the questions.

How long does an 8-hour training day take to transcribe?

About 16 minutes, and a 6-hour day about 12. Our proof page shows a 9.31-hour file done in 1,033 seconds, so a full day sits well inside what one file can do.

What does a training day cost?

A 7-hour day is 420 minutes and fits on a $6 pack of 500 minutes after the first 20 free. A two-day course of 14 hours is 840 minutes; the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes holds two such courses with time to spare.

The recording is over 5 GB. What should I do?

A single upload takes up to 10 hours or 5 GB. A full day of HD video often passes 5 GB, so export the audio track or a lower-resolution copy, or split the day at lunch into two files. Before a pack is on the account, the upload ceiling is 2 GB.

Do I set the language for the course?

No setting is needed. Swedish is detected automatically, and a course taught in English to an international team is detected as English. A day taught in one language with occasional terms in another is transcribed in its main language.

Can participants get captions on the recording?

Yes. SRT and VTT export with timestamps across the full day, so the course video can be published with Swedish captions. TXT, DOCX and JSON come from the same run.

Is internal training material kept private?

Internal procedures and examples stay internal: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. A team that records courses every week can share one $19 a month Workspace instead of buying packs one at a time.
