After the transcript · yours to keep or delete

What happens to my recording after transcription? it waits in your library until you delete it.

After transcription your recording sits in your library next to its transcript, brief and chapters, it is never used to train any model, and you can delete the recording and its transcript whenever you choose. Getting there took about 2 minutes per audio hour on our own servers, for one file up to 10 hours or 5 GB (2 GB before the first pack); the first 20 minutes are free, and a 3-hour file uses 180 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI
✓Our own servers · ✓Never training data · ✓Delete whenever you like · ✓Up to 10 hours per file

From upload to delete

The life of a recording once the words are out.

Where it lives afterwards

The finished recording appears in your Library with everything made from it: the transcript with a timestamp on every line, the brief, the chapters, and the names, numbers and dates that were said. Open it next week or next year and it is the same page, ready to search or export again.

Who works on the audio

The audio is transcribed on our own servers and is never sent to a third-party AI service. It is never used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model, ours or anyone else's. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and that applies equally to a ten-minute memo and a ten-hour hearing.

Deleting is up to you

Delete a single recording and its transcript from the Library when you no longer need them. If you want everything gone, deleting your account removes every record tied to your email. Download the exports you want to keep first, since a deleted transcript cannot be opened again.

A preview that becomes the full text

If the file was longer than your free 20 minutes, the first part is shown as a preview. Adding a pack later transcribes the rest from where the preview ended, so the same recording grows into the complete transcript without a second upload.

Two ways a service can treat your file

A recording that disappears into a pipeline versus one that stays yours.

✗ Out of sight once uploaded

The file goes somewhere you cannot see, and the terms decide what it is used for.

  • No clear answer on where the audio went
  • Recordings folded into model training
  • No way to remove a single file
  • Exports that vanish after a few days
  • Re-uploading to read it again
  • Monthly fees to keep access to your own work

✓ Kept where you can see it

The recording and its transcript sit side by side in your Library.

  • Transcribed on our own servers
  • Never used to train any model
  • Delete one recording or the whole account
  • Open it again without a new upload
  • Exports in TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON
  • Credits that never expire on your pack

Sample output

What the transcript you return to looks like.

Illustrative only, not a real recording: four lines from a long planning session, as they appear when you reopen it later.

00:03:22 Let us agree on the scope first, then the dates, then who owns each part.
00:41:09 The launch moves to the second week of March if the supplier confirms by Friday.
01:26:44 Write that down as a decision, not a suggestion, so nobody reopens it next month.
02:18:10 We will meet again in three weeks and go through the open items one by one.

FAQ

Questions about your recording after transcription.

Do you keep my recording after the transcript is done?

It stays in your Library with its transcript so you can return to it, search it and export again. You decide how long that is: delete it from the Library at any time and both the recording and its transcript are removed.

Is my recording used to train AI?

No. It is never used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model, and the audio is not sent to a third-party AI service for transcription.

Can I delete everything at once?

Yes. Deleting your account removes every record tied to your email address. Save any exports you need beforehand.

What happens if I only had the free 20 minutes?

A recording up to 20 minutes is transcribed in full. A longer one shows a preview, and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest from where the preview stopped, on the same recording.

How long does transcription take, and how big can the file be?

About 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 5-hour file takes around 10 minutes. One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB; before your first pack, uploads can be up to 2 GB.

What can I take with me?

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON exports, plus the brief and chapters on the page. Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and 99 languages are detected automatically.
