Transcribe a Bible study recording so the group has the notes.
Your group records its weekly Bible study, an hour or two of reading and discussion, and you want the session as notes people can read later. Upload the phone recording or paste the meeting link: a 90-minute session is ready in about 3 minutes, the first 20 minutes are free, and a pack from $6 covers the rest.
Built for the weekly session
Discussion is hard to take notes on while you are in it.
Everyone gets to listen
Whoever usually takes notes can put the pen down. Set a phone in the middle of the table, record the session, and the text is waiting afterwards, from the opening reading to the last prayer request.
The questions people asked
Good studies are full of questions, and the brief lists the ones the session raised and answered. That list is often the best starting point for next week, or for someone who missed this one.
Each week builds a set
Every session lands in your Library, searchable across weeks. When someone asks which week the group talked about a particular chapter, you search once instead of listening back through a term of recordings.
Notes in a format people open
Export the session as DOCX to send round by email or drop into a shared folder, or as TXT to paste into a group chat. Chapters with timestamps let anyone return to the audio for a single part.
The weekly problem
Recordings pile up and nobody listens back.
✗ Recording every week
The intent is good, but an hour and a half of audio per week is more than anyone has time to revisit.
- One person scribbles notes and misses the talk
- A folder of untitled voice memos
- No way to search last month's discussion
- Absent members get nothing they can skim
- Apps that stop recording at 60 minutes
- Prayer requests forgotten by Thursday
✓ Text every week
The same recording turns into notes that are short to skim and complete when you need the detail.
- The whole session as one document
- Questions raised, listed in the brief
- Chapters that follow the passage and the discussion
- Search across every week in the Library
- Ready a few minutes after you upload
- DOCX or TXT to share with the group
Sample output
A midweek session, with the conversation intact.
Illustrative output, not a real group. Several people speak in a study, and the timestamps let you find any comment again in the audio.

FAQ
Bible study recordings, answered.
How quickly is a weekly session transcribed?
A 90-minute session usually takes about 3 minutes, and a full two hours about 4. Upload after the group leaves and the notes are there before you have tidied the room.
How much does a whole study series cost?
A 12-week study of 90-minute sessions is 1,080 minutes, which one $12 pack (2,000 minutes) covers with room to spare. A single session fits easily in a $6 pack (500 minutes). If a ministry team records studies every week across several groups, the $19-a-month Workspace may suit it better.
Does a phone recording from the middle of the table work?
Yes. Voice memo apps save M4A or MP3 files of a few dozen megabytes per hour, far below the 2 GB first-upload limit. One file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Do I need to split a two-hour session?
No. Upload the session in one piece, and the transcript keeps one clock from start to finish. Splitting only gives you two documents to merge.
Our group meets in Korean (or Tagalog, or Spanish). Is that supported?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, so there is nothing to pick before the upload. If the group switches between languages, the transcript follows the main language of the session.
Can I share the notes, and are the recordings private?
Export as DOCX or TXT for the group, or SRT and VTT if the session was filmed. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, which matters when a session includes personal prayer requests.
