Transcribe a talk show episode and find the quote fast.
A talk show episode that runs two or three hours holds one line everybody will ask about. Paste the episode link or drop the recording below and you get the whole show as text, with key quotes and the timestamp each one sits at. The first 20 minutes are free, and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest.
For the morning after the broadcast
The line everyone is quoting, located to the second.
Quotes, each with its time
Every episode comes back with key quotes pulled from the conversation, each marked with the timestamp where it was said and the person who said it. When a producer asks for the exact wording of the opening monologue joke, you open the quote and play from that second.
Segments become chapters
A talk show has a shape: the open, the first guest, the panel, the call-ins, the closing bit. The chapters follow that shape with a heading and a start time each, so a three-hour broadcast reads like a running order rather than one long block.
Video file or link
Recorded the broadcast as a video? Audio is what gets transcribed, so a 2-hour 1080p MP4 of a few gigabytes is fine. The box here suits the smaller files; a broadcast recording above that goes through the upload page, up to 5 GB, or paste the published episode link and skip the upload.
A week of shows on a pack
A daily two-hour show is 600 minutes across five weekdays, which the $12 pack (2,000 minutes) covers three times over. A full month of weekday shows is around 2,640 minutes, which sits inside the $24 pack (5,000 minutes).
Producer requests and fact checks
Finding one sentence in three hours of broadcast.
✗ Hunting through the recording
Someone asks what the guest said about the merger. The answer is somewhere between the second ad break and the call-ins.
- Dragging a playhead through three hours
- Writing down approximate times on paper
- Quoting the guest from memory and getting it wrong
- Running orders that never match what aired
- Producers waiting on one sentence
- No text archive of past episodes to check
✓ Searching the text
The episode is a document with chapters and quotes, so finding a line is a search rather than a listen.
- Search for the word and land on the line
- Exact quotes with the timestamp beside them
- Chapters that match the segments that aired
- The guest named in the summary and quotes
- Ask the chat which segment covered a topic
- Each episode kept in a searchable Library

A broadcast, read as a running order.

FAQ
Talk show transcription, answered.
How fast is a two-hour talk show transcribed?
About four minutes. Processing is roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, so even a three-hour broadcast is usually ready in around six.
What does a 3-hour episode cost, and a month of them?
A 3-hour episode is 180 minutes, which the $6 pack (500 minutes) covers. Twenty weekday episodes of two hours each is 2,400 minutes, which goes on the $24 pack (5,000 minutes). Your first recording starts with 20 free minutes.
How large can the recording be?
The ceiling is 10 hours or 5 GB for each recording. Before you have bought a pack, uploads go up to 2 GB; a larger broadcast file starts once a pack is on the account.
Does the episode need to be cut at the ad breaks?
No, leave the breaks in and upload the episode as recorded. It comes back as one transcript with one timeline, so the timestamps match the original file.
Our show switches between two languages. Will it cope?
Each recording's language is detected automatically, with 99 languages supported. If a heavily bilingual episode comes back with gaps, let us know.
Can I get captions, and where is the audio processed?
Export SRT or VTT for captions, and TXT, DOCX or JSON for the text itself. On privacy, the short version is that recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
