Zoom, Teams, Meet · speaker labels · no bot in the call

Transcribe a Zoom recording without a bot in the room.

Record the call the way you already do, then drop the file here afterwards. Nothing joins the meeting, nothing appears in the participant list, and no one has to be told a third-party notetaker is listening.

What you get

Why post-hoc beats a meeting bot.

Nothing to disclose mid-call

A notetaker bot appears in the participant list and announces itself, which is a conversation you have to have with every client, candidate, and counterparty. Transcribing the recording afterwards removes that step entirely.

Works with what you already record

Zoom local and cloud recordings, Teams, Google Meet, or a plain screen capture. If you ended up with a file, it transcribes — no integration to authorise and no calendar access to grant.

Speakers separated after the fact

Zoom's own audio is one mixed track once it's exported. Diarization pulls the voices apart from that single track, so the transcript reads as labelled turns instead of one continuous monologue.

Not training data

Meeting audio is the most sensitive thing most teams record — HR conversations, pricing, unreleased plans. We run Whisper on our own GPUs and never use your audio or transcripts to train anything.

Bot vs recording

Meeting bot vs transcribing the file.

✗ A meeting-notetaker bot

Convenient, and genuinely better if you want live notes during the call. The costs are social and administrative rather than technical.

  • Visible participant in every call
  • Needs calendar and meeting access
  • Awkward with clients and candidates
  • Per-seat monthly pricing
  • Covers meetings only, nothing else

✓ Transcribing the recording

Nothing in the call, nothing to authorise, and it works on any recording you already have.

  • No bot, no participant-list entry
  • No calendar or account access
  • Nothing to disclose mid-meeting
  • Pay per minute transcribed, no seats
  • Same flow for lectures, interviews, field tape

Sample output

Speaker-labelled. Click-to-seek. Exportable.

A four-person call, exported as one mixed track, split back into labelled turns.

SPEAKER 1 00:07:14 Before we move on — are we agreed the migration lands before the end of the quarter, or is that still aspirational?
SPEAKER 2 00:07:22 It's real, provided the data backfill starts next week rather than after the freeze.
SPEAKER 3 00:07:31 I can start it Monday. I need one decision from you first, though.
SPEAKER 1 00:07:36 Noted — let's take that offline right after this and unblock you today.

FAQ

Zoom transcription questions, answered.

Do you join my meeting?

No. Nothing connects to your call, appears in the participant list, or requests calendar access. You record the meeting however you already do, then drop the resulting file here afterwards.

Does it work with Teams and Google Meet?

Yes. The flow is identical for any recorder — Zoom local or cloud recordings, Teams, Meet, OBS, or a phone on the table. If it produced a file, it transcribes.

Can it tell four people apart?

Yes. Exported meeting recordings are a single mixed track, and diarization separates the voices from that track. Clean turn-taking separates well; heavy cross-talk is the hard case for every engine.

Is meeting audio safe here?

We run Whisper on Neugence-owned GPUs rather than sending audio to a third-party API, and nothing you upload is used to train any model. You can hard-delete a recording and its transcript at any time.

What about a whole backlog of past calls?

Drop them in — they queue and process server-side. The $12 pack covers 2,000 minutes, which is roughly a hundred hours of meetings, and the credits never expire.
