Which video formats work?

MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, and most others. We take the audio track from the container, so the codec and resolution don't matter — a 4K file transcribes exactly like a 720p one.

Do I get subtitles as well as a transcript?

Both, from the same job. SRT and VTT come out word-level-timed for editors and players; TXT and DOCX give you the readable version; JSON carries the full timing data.

Can I paste a link instead of uploading?

Yes — a YouTube URL or a direct media link. We fetch the audio server-side, which is much faster than downloading a large video just to upload it again.

How big can the video be?

5 GB and 12 hours per file through the web UI. Long uploads keep processing after you close the tab, because the job runs on our side.

Will it label the speakers?

Yes. Diarization runs on every job, so a panel or interview comes back as separate labelled turns — which is what makes the transcript usable as an edit script.
