One day, every room

Price the rooms, not the sessions.

Tracks multiply, sessions don't

Cost follows recorded minutes, so it makes no difference whether the day had six talks or twelve. One room for 8 hours is 480 minutes; three rooms are 1,440 minutes on the $18 pack. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.

The file from the AV desk

An 8-hour room recording as 1080p video often passes 5 GB, so ask the AV team for an audio export or make one yourself: eight hours of 128 kbps audio is about 460 MB and uploads before any pack. A livestream on YouTube or Vimeo needs only its link. Big files go from the upload page.

Sixteen minutes, then chapters

At about 2 minutes per hour of audio, the room's day is text in roughly 16 minutes. Chapters with timestamps fall at the session changes, and the brief lists the thesis and takeaways, the names, numbers and dates said on stage, and the questions the day answered.

Panels and audience questions

Panellists and the moderator are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so a recap post can quote the right person. Questions shouted from the floor come through less clearly than the stage, so a room microphone or the desk feed helps.

Conference recordings

Why the recordings usually sit unused.

✗ Built for single talks

Session-by-session tools ask you to cut the day into pieces before anything happens.

  • Room recordings cut talk by talk
  • File caps shorter than a morning
  • Per-session fees that add up
  • Notetaker bots that need a live call
  • Panels with no names attached
  • Recaps written from memory

✓ The room's day, whole

Upload the day as recorded and let the chapters do the cutting.

  • 480 minutes on the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes
  • One file per room, up to 10 hours
  • Chapters at each session change
  • Quotes attributed in the summary
  • SRT and VTT for the session videos
  • Unused minutes kept for next year

Sample output

From room B, mid-afternoon.

FAQ

Conference days, answered.

Is the price per session or per hour?

Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. A single 8-hour room is 480 minutes, and there is no fee per session, per speaker or per file.

What if the day ran longer than 10 hours?

Upload it as two files, split at the lunch break or between sessions. Minutes count the same, and each file keeps its own clock. A morning file and an afternoon file also make the chapters easier to scan.

Can I use the free minutes on a conference recording?

A first-time visitor's free preview of the opening minutes. On an 8-hour file that is a preview of the opening, enough to check how the room sounds before you buy the pack that transcribes the rest.

The recording is a 7 GB video. What now?

Files above 5 GB do not go up as they are. Extract the audio track, or export the video at a lower resolution; the words stay the same. Up to 5 GB, a file starts with or without a pack.

Can we caption the session videos?

Yes. Export SRT or VTT for each room file and cut them alongside the video, or transcribe each session video separately if you publish talks one by one. Separate files cost the same in total, because the minutes simply add up.

What if talks are in more than one language?

All 99 supported languages are detected automatically, and a talk that switches language is detected on its main language. Conference audio is processed on our own servers and is never used for training.
