Transcribe a 6-hour training day into notes people actually reread.
A 6-hour training day is 360 minutes of audio and returns as timestamped text in about 12 minutes; a Zoom or Teams recording of that length is usually 1 to 4 GB as video and about 350 MB as audio. It fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 140 left, and the first 20 minutes are free.
A full day of training
Six hours of instruction, turned into reference notes the next cohort can use.
However the day was captured
Training days are recorded in Zoom or Teams, on a camera at the back of a classroom, or on a phone at the front. Upload the MP4, M4A or WAV, or paste a Google Drive share link. A Teams recording saved to OneDrive or SharePoint can be downloaded and uploaded here; up to 2 GB goes in before a pack.
About twelve minutes
Six hours of audio at roughly 2 minutes per hour comes back in about 12 minutes. Breaks, silent exercises and screen-share stretches with no talking barely add to that.
Modules you can jump to
Chapters follow the training agenda: each module, every demo, the exercises and the recap. The brief lists the procedures, rules, numbers and deadlines the trainer gave, and the chat answers a question such as what the escalation step was for a refund over the limit, with the timestamp to replay it.
Programme arithmetic
One 6-hour day uses 360 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack. A cohort with four training days is 1,440 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 560 left. Twelve training days across a year is 4,320 minutes, which the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes covers with 680 to spare.
Why training fades
Six hours of instruction, and a week later nobody remembers step four.
✗ The recording in a folder
The video exists, but nobody will scrub six hours to find the one procedure they forgot.
- Six hours of video to search by eye
- Slides without what was said about them
- Questions from the room lost
- New staff retrained from scratch
- Tools that stop at the first hour
- A 3 GB file split into chunks
✓ The day as reference notes
The recording goes in once and comes back as a document people can search on the job.
- About 12 minutes for 360 minutes
- Each module as a chapter
- Trainer named in the summary and key quotes
- Steps and deadlines listed
- DOCX for the handbook, SRT for the video
- 140 minutes saved for a refresher

FAQ
A 6-hour training day, the common questions.
How long does a 6-hour training day take to transcribe?
About 12 minutes at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. The tab can close; the finished transcript appears in your Library.
What does 360 minutes cost?
It fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes and leaves 140. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and the pack transcribes the remainder from where the preview ended. Credits never expire.
Our recording is 4.5 GB. Will it upload?
With a pack on the account, yes: the limit is 5 GB per file. Before a pack the limit is 2 GB, so either buy the pack first or export the audio, which for six hours is a few hundred megabytes.
The training ran over two days. Can I upload both at once?
Upload each day as its own file so each gets its own chapters and brief. Two six-hour days total 720 minutes, which needs the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A single recording longer than 10 hours has to go in as two files anyway.
Does it work for trainings in other languages?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, and English product or industry terms inside another language are handled. A day that switches language is detected on its main language.
Which formats come out, and is the content kept private?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, all from one pass. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. For a team that records sessions every week, a $19/month Workspace is also available.
