Transcribe church services in Swedish, every week.
A Sunday service of 90 to 120 minutes comes back as Swedish text in about 3 to 4 minutes, with the sermon, the readings and the notices each in their own chapter. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers about four services of two hours.
What a service turns into
The spoken parts of the service, in order, with the time each began.
Music stays out, speech stays in
A service mixes speech with hymns, organ preludes and a choir. Music is not transcribed, so what comes back is the welcome, the prayers, the readings, the sermon and the notices. A two-hour file with forty minutes of singing still returns a readable text of everything spoken.
The sermon as its own chapter
Chapters fall where the service changes direction, so the sermon sits under one timestamp and the intercessions under another. Putting the sermon in a newsletter or on the parish website means copying one chapter, not hunting through two hours of text.
Every week, the same routine
If the service is streamed to YouTube, paste the replay link once the stream has ended. A recording from the sound desk can be dropped on the upload page from the computer it was saved on. Either way, this week's transcript lands in the same Library as last week's.
A team that records every week
When several volunteers share the recordings, the $19 a month Workspace gives the team one account. One person working alone usually does well on packs: 52 services of 100 minutes come to 5,200 minutes a year, a little more than the largest pack holds.
Why services go untranscribed
Two hours a week is too much to type and too valuable to lose.
✗ What usually happens
The recording sits on a drive, and the sermon exists as text only if the preacher wrote it out beforehand.
- Typing a sermon by ear on Monday
- Captions that run the hymns into the text
- A 2-hour video nobody searches
- Notes that miss what was said off script
- Members with hearing loss left without text
- Readings and notices lost between weeks
✓ Each service as a document
The whole service is one upload, and the spoken parts come back in order with their times.
- A Sunday service ready before coffee is served
- Hymns and organ music not transcribed
- Swedish detected, no setting to choose
- Sermon, readings and notices as chapters
- Preacher named in the brief and quotes
- Text ready for a website or newsletter

FAQ
Recording services, the common questions.
How long does a Sunday service take to transcribe?
A 2-hour service takes about 4 minutes, and a 90-minute one about 3. Processing time follows the length of the recording at roughly 2 minutes per hour, and the result waits in your Library if you close the page.
What does a month or a year of services cost?
On a first visit, the first 20 minutes are free. Four services of 110 minutes make 440 minutes, which fits on a $6 pack of 500 minutes. For a whole year at once, the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes covers about fifty services of 100 minutes.
Our stream is on Facebook. Can I paste that link?
Not directly. Facebook replays are downloaded first and then uploaded as a file. YouTube replays, Vimeo videos and Google Drive share links can be pasted as they are, with no download.
Do I need to choose Swedish before uploading?
No. Swedish is detected automatically, along with 98 other languages, so a service held in Finnish, Arabic or English in the same church is handled the same way. Each recording is transcribed on its main language.
How big a file can I send?
A service file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads stop at 2 GB: an audio file from the sound desk is far below that, while a high-quality two-hour video can pass it. A recording over 2 GB starts once a pack is on the account.
What can we do with the text, and is it private?
DOCX for a printed sermon, TXT for the website, SRT or VTT to put captions on the service video, JSON for an archive. Sermons and prayers stay where they were sent: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
