Multi-day events · one file per session · Drive folders

Transcribe conference recordings in Ireland every session from one Drive folder.

A multi-day conference in Ireland is usually recorded as one file per session, and each 45-minute session comes back as text in about 90 seconds. Paste the Google Drive folder that holds them all; the first 20 minutes are free, and three days of 24 sessions, 1,080 minutes, fits the $12 pack.

For organisers and speakers

Every session as text, from a single folder link.

One folder link

Put the session recordings in a Google Drive folder, share it by link, and paste that link once. Every recording in the folder is picked up, and each becomes its own transcript in your Library with its own clock.

A session per file

Each keynote, panel and breakout is transcribed separately, so a 45-minute talk takes about 90 seconds and the whole event is done in well under an hour. A day recorded as one long file also works, up to 10 hours. If the venue's crew hands over one file per room per day, upload those instead and let the chapters find the talks.

Three days on the $12 pack

Three days of eight 45-minute sessions is 24 sessions and 1,080 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000. A larger event with two parallel rooms over three days, 2,160 minutes, belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000.

Panels with every voice named

On a panel, the moderator and each panellist are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. The brief sets out the thesis of each talk, ready for a post-event write-up or the speakers' pages. Questions from the audience are listed too, which often make the most useful part of the follow-up.

Why conference recordings sit unused

Dozens of session videos, and nobody has time to write them up.

✗ A folder of videos

After the event, the recordings are uploaded and the write-up never happens.

  • Uploading dozens of files one at a time
  • No captions for the session videos
  • A write-up that covers only the keynote
  • Panel quotes credited to the wrong person
  • Sessions nobody can search by topic
  • Free tools that cap every file short

✓ The event as text

Paste one folder link and get every session back as text, chapters and captions.

  • Drive folders picked up whole
  • About 90 seconds per 45-minute session
  • First 20 minutes free
  • Panellists named in the summary
  • Captions as SRT and VTT
  • A brief for every talk

00:01:20 Thanks for coming to the last panel of the day. I will ask each of our panellists one question, then open it up.
00:03:05 The biggest change in five years is that small teams now expect to run their own data, not wait for it.
00:09:48 I would disagree slightly. The expectation changed, but the skills did not change as fast.
00:31:12 We have time for two questions. The microphone is at the front.

FAQ

Conference recordings, the common questions.

How long does a conference session take to transcribe?

Sessions process at roughly 2 minutes per hour. A 45-minute session takes around 90 seconds, and a full day recorded as one 8-hour file takes about 16 minutes.

What does a three-day conference cost?

24 sessions of 45 minutes come to 1,080 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000. Two rooms over the same three days double that to 2,160 minutes, which is the $24 pack of 5,000. Prices are in USD.

Can I upload the whole event at once?

Yes: paste a Google Drive folder link and each recording inside it is collected. Each session becomes its own transcript, ready to download separately.

How large can each recording be?

Each recording may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB start straight away; a larger file starts once a pack is on the account.

Can I caption the session videos?

Yes. SRT and VTT come from the same run as the text, so each session video can be captioned before it goes on the event site.

Which formats come back, and is the content kept private?

Each session gives TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
