Multi-day · one file per session · Drive folder links

Transcribe conference recordings every session from every room.

A conference recorded one file per session is transcribed at about 2 minutes per audio hour, and a Google Drive folder link brings in the whole set at once. The first 20 minutes are free; forty 45-minute sessions come to 1,800 minutes and fit the $12 pack of 2,000. US industry and academic conferences often run three days across several rooms, which is why the pricing below is worked out per event.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI
✓Drive folders read in one go · ✓Two minutes or so per hour of sessions · ✓Free first 20 minutes to judge the audio · ✓Session audio never trains a model

After the event

Three days of talks, panels and Q&A, back as text before the attendee survey goes out.

One folder link

The AV team usually hands over a shared folder of session files. Paste the Google Drive folder link and every recording in it is picked up, so nobody uploads sixty files by hand.

Pricing a whole event

Count the minutes across rooms. Forty sessions of 45 minutes are 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000. A larger event with seventy hour-long sessions comes to 4,200 minutes, which the $24 pack of 5,000 covers, API access included.

What each session gives you

Each talk returns a brief with its thesis and takeaways, chapters, the names, numbers and dates mentioned, and the questions it answers. Speakers and panelists are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.

Whole-room recordings work too

If a room was recorded as one all-day file instead of per session, send that file: one recording can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Chapters fall where one talk ends and the next begins.

Where conference recordings end up

Sixty session videos in a folder nobody opens.

✗ Files without words

The sessions were recorded and stored, and still no one can search what was said in them.

  • One upload at a time, sixty times
  • Session titles that do not match the talk
  • A panel answer nobody can find again
  • Auto-captions to clean before publishing
  • Keynote quotes copied by ear
  • A monthly plan for a yearly event

✓ An event you can search

Every session as text, named and chaptered, in an afternoon.

  • Drive folder links read whole
  • Fast: about 2 minutes per hour
  • Panelists named in the summary and key quotes
  • SRT and VTT for the session videos
  • DOCX for the post-event report
  • Credits that keep until next year's event

00:00:45 Thanks for coming back after lunch. We have three panelists, and we will save the last fifteen minutes for your questions.
00:12:20 The pilot ran in four districts over eighteen months, and the results moved in the second year, not the first.
00:31:05 I disagree a little. The cost per site came down because we stopped customizing it for each one.
00:48:50 For anyone starting from zero next year, what is the one thing you would budget for that you did not?

FAQ

Conference recordings, common questions.

How long does a whole conference take?

Roughly 2 minutes for every hour of sessions. A 45-minute session is ready in under 2 minutes, and a three-day event with 30 hours of sessions needs about an hour of processing in total.

What does a three-day conference cost?

Thirty hours of sessions are 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Fifty hours, or 3,000 minutes, need the $24 pack of 5,000. Credits never expire, and prices are in US dollars.

Can I paste a Google Drive folder?

Yes: a shared Drive folder link brings in every recording inside it. Single Drive files, YouTube and Vimeo links work too. Recordings stored elsewhere can be downloaded and uploaded, up to 2 GB per file before the first pack.

One room was recorded all day as a single file. Does that work?

No, as long as it is under 10 hours and 5 GB. A longer file is split in two at a break and sent as two recordings, each with its own chapters.

Do sessions in other languages work?

99 languages are detected automatically, per file. A Spanish-language track at an otherwise English event comes back in Spanish, and a Japanese keynote comes back in Japanese.

Which exports are there, and what happens to the recordings?

Every session can be downloaded as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and each one can be deleted together with its transcript.
