Korean church service transcription for Korean congregations in Canada.
A Korean church service recorded in Canada comes back as Korean text at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a two-hour Sunday service takes about 4. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes holds four two-hour services.
Every service the church records
Sunday worship, midweek services and dawn prayer, all in text.
Korean without configuration
Upload the file and Korean is recognised from the audio. A short English greeting to visitors or an English-language testimony stays in the text as spoken, because the recording is detected on its main language and the switches are handled.
Short services add up
Dawn prayer and Wednesday services are shorter than Sunday worship but come every week. Thirty-minute dawn services use 30 minutes each, so the credits stretch a long way, and they never expire between seasons.
For members spread across a city
Not every member can attend in person in winter. The brief and key quotes, with the preacher named, can go in the church's group chat, and the full text sits in upload page history for anyone who wants it.
Captions for the online service
Download the SRT or VTT file and add it to the replay. Hymns and the choir anthem are not transcribed, so the captions cover the spoken parts: the prayer, the reading, the sermon and the notices.
Why the sermon is rarely written down
The pastor prepares notes, but what was preached is never quite the same.
✗ Notes and memory
The written outline differs from what was actually said, and the recording is too long to search.
- An outline instead of the real sermon
- Tools that treat Korean as an afterthought
- Trials that end mid-sermon
- Midweek services never written up
- Nothing for members who missed Sunday
- No captions on the online replay
✓ What was actually preached
Each service returns as Korean text with chapters and a short summary.
- Korean recognised automatically
- Two-hour services in about 4 minutes
- Short services cost minutes, not plans
- A short brief to share with members
- Captions for the replay
- Every service searchable later

This sample is illustrative and was written for this page; the Korean lines are generic and quote no real congregation. The labels mark sections of the service; they do not identify individuals.

FAQ
Korean services in Canada, the common questions.
How fast is a Korean service transcribed?
Close to 2 minutes for each hour of audio: about 4 minutes for two hours, and around a minute for a 30-minute dawn service.
What does a month of all our services cost?
Four Sunday services of 100 minutes, four Wednesday services of 60 minutes and sixteen dawn services of 30 minutes come to 1,120 minutes a month. That fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, about $0.36 an audio hour, with 880 minutes carried over. Prices are in USD.
How big can a service recording be?
Ten hours or 5 GB is the ceiling for a single file. Before the first pack, uploads reach 2 GB. A two-hour 128 kbps MP3 is about 115 MB (128 kbps times 7,200 seconds), so audio files are never the problem; only long high-resolution video might be.
Will Korean and English both be transcribed?
Korean and English are among the 99 languages detected automatically. A service is detected on its main language, and English phrases inside a Korean service are kept. A separate English ministry service is best uploaded as its own file.
What comes back, and is the recording private?
Five exports: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and the church can delete any service and its transcript.
Can older members read the sermon in large print?
Yes. Export DOCX, set a larger font in any word processor and print it; the chapters make it easy to print only the sermon. Some churches also keep a binder of printed sermons in the foyer for members who prefer paper to a phone screen, and the dated chapters make each one easy to file.
