Transcribe Korean church services for Korean-American congregations.
A Korean-American church service or sermon of 90 to 120 minutes is transcribed in 3 to 4 minutes, and Korean is detected without any setting. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes then covers sixteen two-hour services.
For both ministries in one church
The Korean service and the English ministry, transcribed the same way.
Korean in, Korean text out
Korean is one of the 99 languages detected automatically, so a Korean sermon comes back in Hangul without a language menu. The English ministry service goes through the same way and comes back in English, which suits churches that hold both on one Sunday.
A sermon series, kept together
Upload each week of a series and every message stays searchable on the account. A pastor preparing the next series can find where a passage was preached before, and the timestamp jumps straight to it.
From the stream or the booth
Paste the YouTube replay link if the service streamed there. Recordings from the sound booth, a phone, or a download of a Facebook stream go into upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file.
Bulletin text and translation drafts
The brief states the sermon's thesis and takeaways and names the preacher. A bilingual volunteer can start from the Korean text when preparing an English summary for second-generation members, instead of working from the audio alone.
Why Korean sermons stay in audio
Typing a two-hour Korean sermon by hand takes most of a weekday.
✗ Audio and video only
Without text, a sermon is hard to quote, translate or search.
- Hours of typing for every sermon
- English-only tools that miss Korean
- Free tiers that stop before the message
- Second-generation members left out
- No captions on the replay
- Past series impossible to search
✓ Every sermon as a document
The Korean text, a short summary and captions come back from one upload.
- Roughly 4 minutes per two-hour service
- Korean detected automatically
- Hangul text ready to edit
- A start for English summaries
- Captions that match the replay
- Each series searchable by word

FAQ
Korean services in the US, the common questions.
How long does a two-hour Korean service take?
About 4 minutes. The pace is near 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 90-minute service takes around 3.
What does a year of Korean services cost?
A year of Sunday services at 100 minutes each is 5,200 minutes, which takes the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes plus a $6 pack. A church transcribing only one ten-week sermon series of 100-minute services uses 1,000 minutes of the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, at about $0.36 an audio hour. A church that records dawn prayer, Wednesday and Sunday services every week may prefer the $19 a month Workspace.
Is there a size or length limit on a service video?
Each service file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Uploads reach 2 GB before the first pack; a two-hour 1080p video at 2 Mbps is about 1.8 GB (2 Mbps times 7,200 seconds), close to that line, while its audio alone as a 128 kbps MP3 is about 115 MB.
What about services that mix Korean and English?
The recording is detected on its main language, so a Korean service with a few English phrases comes back as Korean with the English kept. If the Korean and English ministries meet separately, upload each service as its own file.
Which files come back, and does the church's recording stay private?
Plain text, Word, two caption formats and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and services can be deleted at any time.
Can we translate the sermon into English?
The transcript is in the language spoken. A bilingual volunteer can translate from the Korean text, and the chat over the transcript can answer questions about the sermon in English, but the transcript itself stays in Korean. Keep the Korean original alongside any translation, so a reader can check a phrase against what was actually preached.
