Transcribe ASUS Sound Recorder recordings seminars you can study from.
A seminar recorded with ASUS Sound Recorder becomes text once you share the file from the app and upload it, and 75 minutes take about 2.5 minutes. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
From the recorder list to revision notes
A term of seminars is a lot of audio. It is also a lot of answers.
Getting the recording off the phone
In Sound Recorder, open the list of recordings, select the seminar and use Share to send it to Drive, a messaging app you use for yourself, or a laptop. Where the app stores files depends on the phone and its software, so sharing is safer than searching folders. Then upload it on upload page or in the box above.
Two seminars a week, costed
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. A single weekly seminar is 1,050 minutes and the $18 pack of 3,000 covers it with room for revision sessions.
Built for revising
Each seminar comes back with a brief, chapters by topic, and the names, numbers and dates the lecturer said, which make quick flashcards. The questions the recording answers double as a self-test, and the chat finds the minute a definition was first given.
Record with permission
Ask before recording a seminar and keep the transcript as your own study material unless the lecturer allows sharing. WhipScribe has no link to the ASUS app and sees only the file you choose to upload.

FAQ
ASUS Sound Recorder files, the common questions.
How long does a seminar take to transcribe?
About 2.5 minutes for 75 minutes of audio, since processing runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour. A 3-hour lab session takes about 6.
What format does ASUS Sound Recorder save?
It depends on the app version and its quality setting, so check the file's extension after you share it. Common phone formats upload as they are; if one is refused, convert it to MP3 and upload that.
How large can a recording be?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB in one file, with or without a pack. A 75-minute compressed recording is usually tens of MB, so the box on this page takes it straight from the phone's browser. A recording longer than 10 hours, such as an all-day conference, goes up as two files.
Is the first seminar free?
The opening minutes are a free preview, and a pack from $4 transcribes the rest from where the preview ended. Credits never expire, so leftover minutes carry into next term.
Can it handle lectures in other languages?
Yes, 99 languages are detected automatically, and English terms dropped into another language are handled. A lecture that switches language is detected on its main one.
What can I export, and is the recording kept private?
DOCX for annotating, TXT for flashcard apps, SRT and VTT for captions, and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
