QA batches · weekly samples · about 2 min per audio hour

Transcribe CloudTalk recordings a QA sample read, not just listened to.

A batch of CloudTalk call recordings downloaded for QA transcribes at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a weekly sample of 150 calls averaging 9 minutes (1,350 minutes) needs about 45 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the whole sample fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.

From a CloudTalk batch to a scorecard

A QA reviewer can listen to ten calls a day, or read a hundred.

Pulling the batch

Recorded calls usually sit in the call history, each with playback and a download control, and filters by agent, date or tag narrow the list before you save. Whether you can download in bulk depends on your plan and permissions, so check with whoever administers the account. Most downloads are ordinary audio files that upload as they are.

Sizing the sample

Recordings saved as 64 kbps MP3 come to 28.8 MB an hour, so 9 minutes of call is about 4.3 MB and the 150-call sample roughly 650 MB in total. Put the files in one Google Drive folder and paste the share link, and the batch arrives without a browser upload.

Pricing a QA programme

The weekly sample of 1,350 minutes fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Four weekly samples a month, 5,400 minutes, run past a single $24 pack of 5,000, so a team at that pace adds a smaller pack or trims the sample a little. A pilot of 50 calls, 450 minutes, fits the $6 pack.

Scoring from text

Search every call for the greeting, the verification step or the closing line on your scorecard, and see which ones skipped it. The brief lists the questions each caller asked, the chapters mark where the call turned, and agent and customer are named in the summary and key quotes when their names are spoken.

QA by ear

Listening caps the sample. Reading lifts it.

00:00:05 Good morning, you're through to the billing team. Can I take your account number first?
00:00:31 Sure, it's on the letter. Before that, why did my direct debit go out twice?
00:03:58 I've found the duplicate. It's refunded today and should reach your bank within a few days.
00:08:40 Is there anything else on the account I can check while you're here?

FAQ

CloudTalk call batches, answered.

Is there a CloudTalk integration?

No integration, no marketplace app and nothing listening on live calls. Download the recordings from CloudTalk, then upload them or share the folder from Google Drive; the transcripts are made from those files.

How fast does a QA batch come back?

Processing runs at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so 1,350 minutes of calls take around 45 minutes, and the first calls are ready long before the last.

How much does a weekly sample cost?

A first visit gets 20 minutes free, enough for two short calls in full. The 150-call sample takes the $12 pack, and a 50-call pilot of 450 minutes fits the $6 pack. Credits never expire.

What about consent for recorded calls?

Recording needs the consent required by the law where your agents and callers are, and arranging it is the account owner's job. Once a recording exists, the transcription works on the file alone.

Can we find calls where a script line was missed?

Yes. Search the transcripts for the exact line, or ask the chat over a transcript whether the agent confirmed the caller's details, then jump to the timestamp to listen.

Is customer audio kept private?

CloudTalk files sent here are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Delete calls and transcripts whenever your retention rules require.
