Transcribe Talkdesk call recordings for supervisors reviewing the month.
Talkdesk call recordings exported for review transcribe at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a monthly review set of 250 calls averaging 10 minutes (2,500 minutes) needs about 83 minutes of processing. The first 20 minutes are free, and the set fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes with half left over.

A month of contact-centre calls, readable before the review meeting.
Exporting the recordings
Recordings are normally reached through the interaction or call history views, where a supervisor or admin with the right role can play and download them. Larger exports depend on how your account is configured, so check the export settings with your admin before planning a monthly pull. The files are usually standard audio; if one is refused, convert it to MP3 or WAV.
Sizes on a phone line
Call audio stored as 8 kHz, 16-bit mono WAV runs at 128,000 bits a second: 57.6 MB an hour, or about 9.6 MB for a 10-minute call. The 250-call set comes to around 2.4 GB in total, spread over many small files that each upload comfortably.
What a monthly review costs
2,500 minutes takes the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, leaving enough for a second month at the same size. A team recording every week might prefer the $19/month Workspace instead. A one-off pilot of 40 calls, 400 minutes, fits the $6 pack.
Themes across hundreds of calls
Each call returns with a brief, the questions the customer asked and the order numbers, dates and amounts mentioned. Speakers are identified and named in the summary and key quotes. Read the briefs side by side to see which complaint keeps returning, then open the calls behind it at the exact timestamp.
Review by sampling
Supervisors hear a sliver of the calls and report on all of them.

FAQ
Talkdesk recordings, answered.
Does WhipScribe plug into Talkdesk?
It does not. There is no Talkdesk integration, no connector and no bot on calls. A supervisor exports the recordings, then uploads them here or shares a Google Drive folder link, and the transcripts are made from those files.
How long does a 250-call set take?
About 83 minutes of processing at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. Short calls finish in under a minute each, so the first results arrive almost at once.
What does the review cost?
The first 20 minutes are free on a first visit. 2,500 minutes needs the $24 pack, and a 40-call pilot of 400 minutes fits the $6 pack. Credits stay on the account and never expire.
Who handles consent for recorded calls?
The business recording the calls does: each call needs the consent the law where you and your customers are requires. WhipScribe transcribes only the recordings you choose to send after the fact.
Our callers speak more than one language. Is that handled?
Each call's language is detected automatically from 99, so a mixed set needs no sorting first. Calls that switch language part-way are detected on the main one.
What happens to the recordings we upload?
Talkdesk exports are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Delete files and transcripts whenever your policy requires; exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
