Transcribe Crowdcast recordings every session in the event.
A Crowdcast event keeps a recording for each session; download them and upload them together, and each 1-hour session comes back as text in about 2 minutes. A 5-day summit of twenty 1-hour sessions is 1,200 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 covers with 800 left, after the first 20 minutes free.
Summits, series, workshops
A week of live sessions makes a week of recordings. Text makes them usable.
A file per session
Crowdcast stores a replay for each session in the event, and hosts can usually download each one, typically as an MP4. Check the session's settings if the download option is not shown. A 1-hour session at about 2 megabits a second is 2 × 3,600 = 7,200 megabits, about 0.9 GB.
Two minutes per session hour
About 2 minutes per hour of audio: a 1-hour interview in about 2, a 4-hour workshop in about 8. A full summit uploaded together is usually done within the hour.
Pack for the whole summit
Twenty 1-hour sessions are 1,200 minutes. That is past the 500 in the $6 pack and inside the $12 pack of 2,000, which leaves 800 for the next event.
A library people can search
Each session gets a brief, chapters and quotes naming the guest. Upload the set on upload page and session notes, quote cards and the replay-page descriptions can all be drafted from it.
After a multi-session event
Twenty replays behind a paywall, and buyers asking which one covers their question.

FAQ
Crowdcast recordings, answered.
How long does a Crowdcast session take?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 1-hour session is ready in about 2 minutes and a 4-hour workshop in about 8.
What does a whole summit cost?
Twenty 1-hour sessions are 1,200 minutes, which takes the $12 pack of 2,000 and leaves 800. A single 4-hour workshop of 240 minutes fits the $6 pack of 500 with 260 left. A first-time visitor gets the opening 20 minutes of the first session free.
Can I paste the Crowdcast event link?
No. Download each session recording and upload the files; links are fetched only from YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, Google Drive and podcast feeds. There is no Crowdcast integration or bot. If the event also streamed a session to YouTube, that one session can be pasted as a link.
How big can each recording be?
Each session recording can reach 10 hours or 5 GB. Files up to 2 GB upload before the first pack; larger ones start once a pack is on the account. Only a recording over 10 hours is split into two.
Are the chat and questions panel transcribed?
Only what is spoken. When a host reads a chat question aloud, the question appears in the text along with the answer. A guest who reads a long passage aloud is transcribed like any other speech.
Languages, export formats and privacy for each session?
99 languages are detected automatically, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese among them. Download any session as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
